Example, Cancer/8th house, attracts those in therapy, real estate, shipping, biology, and men who like to do anything with the home, cooking, taking care of children. Also this Aquarian detatchment could explain why I get involved in so many long distance love affairs. One man who has declared his interested in me has Scorpio in his eighth. (strange for a virgo, i think!) he works for the news and lives for the days when he gets to report on television. he can't get enough of it or the recognition he gets for it. His eighth is cancer and career-wise I would eventually like to do work that incorporates my love for writing and/or photography. While these aren't necessarily associated with cancer, my writing and photography generally has a strong focus on subtle emotional nuances and relationships between parents and children, which could be attributed to cancer. His rising in Gemini, and he's a marketing manager, so that would fit. But for his chart, I don't think the theory pans out? I'm an out and out gemini, only earth in my chart is my taurus moon. @Leyla: I don't think AJ was talking about/to you with that comment. You always to conclusions without thinking things through!! I also have Saturn in Taurus in the 8th (Almost all of my mates have been Taurus risings and now I am with a Taurus with a Taurus rising). It's also in Capricorn though, so I'm not sure how to interpret that. I have 7th and 8th in Cappy too Lovely. I am attracted to power (not so much the whole money thing) but deffinetly power.
