I am also still learning astrology, so please take my words with grains of salt.Seeing that your Ascendant and Moon are both in fire signs, I would suggest trying to go out with an "evolved" Aries with lots of water / earth signs in her other planets. As long as you and the Aries have an open and honest communication - Aries' can't stand being lied to (even if it's just a white lie, which Pisces tend to do if it will spare someone's feelings or to avoid confrontations).
I am thinking that since you have Sagittarius ascendant, it would help curb the "dishonest" influence of the Pisces a bit... (I am not saying that Pisces are liars, just they tend to do everything possible to avoid confrontations, and if it means being a little dishonest).
Your relationship with a Gemini was probably not the best since Gemini is squared to your Sun and opposed your Ascendant. Although I have to say, squares/opposition do actually produce very strong attraction. Just not going to be very good for long term as there is less empathy towards each other.
I would not suggest Cancers because of your Moon and Ascendant also. Sagittarian and Arian influence in your chart will make you also quite blunt from time to time. Cancers are very sensitive...
As an example of Aries-Pisces relationship...
I am an Aries and I have a very close Pisces friend. She and I have agreed right from the beginning that we are going to be very honest with each other and will talk from time to time if one of us feels that the other person's words or actions are hurtful.
See, Aries' are blunt, Pisces are sensitive. I told her from the beginning that I may say something that may mean 2 very different things. If I do, she is to ask me, not assume that I am being mean. This relationship has worked out really well for us because we are now best of friends.
As I said, I am still learning, and I am sure that if I am mistaken, some of the more seasoned astrologers in this forum will correct me...

Yeah, sure not easy having pisces influence... very emotional indeed. I cant keep track myself sometimes. (piscean moon) But its a lovely pure deep emotion... that perhaps does not need to be understood so much, but needs to be warmly accepted/loved. Anyways, welcome to Lindaland !!!
