Hi all,
From what I understand conjunctions are supposed to be positive all-in-all. Is it possible that at first glance they may be viewed upon negatively? (irregardless of how 'developed' the individuals personality is)? If so, how does one determine if they are a positive/negative influence?
One question in specific, how do they work in synastry? Sun/Saturn conjunction? What if this were to appear twice in a chart? Thanks!

libra; myself and the last two men with have both had sun/saturn conjunct.
this conjunct may seem bad but its not so difficult to deal with. im typing two interpretations of what this means below:
restrained but persistent, you are responsible, realistic, introspective, and cuatious, you take yourself seriously, this is a difficult aspect but one that brings direction, determination and the capacity to overcome your early sense of inadequacy through accomplishments. 2nd interpretation: u have difficulting playing the games that people around u of the same age play... you may be an overly mature child in your childhood, trying to learn everything from adults around u. you may demand too much from yourself, feeling that you must work harder to enjoy life. you may hold yourself in so much that it may affect your social life.
as you grow older it may be difficult to express your emotions you may begin to feel lonely and cut off from people. But this doesn't have to be. It is only that you are unwilling to express yourself, even to those who might really like you. This side of your personality will probably cause the most difficulty when you are a young adult. As you grow into middle age, you will begin to feel easier about yourself. Then your sense of discipline and your ability to work hard and long will stand you in good stead with others. Also you will be tougher than most people and able to withstand pressure and hard times when others give up. You are more capable of handling responsibility than most people, but you may resent it if others always expect you to be the one to take the burden.

sun /saturn hard aspects (opposition, squares) have interpretations that are much harsher, such as frustrations and disappointments in childhood, a battered self esteem, restraints to success and expressing ones personality, extremely vengeful enemies (!).
