Scorpios can have a very interesting way of dealing with people who have erred on the wrong side of law and order. Unlike fire signs, who will just fly off the handle instantly, an evolved Scorpio will often try to talk to the person concerned and find out why they behaved in the way that they did. Or they will make the wrongdoer apologize - in the nicest possible way. And in a funny sort of way, the wrongdoer will actually be quite GLAD they made them apologize.

When I was about 15 I had a serious row with a teacher from another school on a school trip. The teacher from our school who chaperoned us, a Virgo, wasn't able to make me apologize - so he took the matter to the deputy head, a Scorpio who I did actually like and respect. He sat me down and made me write a letter of apology (which was thoroughly vetted) saying, in his wonderfuly calm voice, "Now, I know you won't do this for (the Virgo teacher), but you WILL do it for me". In the nicest possible way!

Hello ariestiger.

I think it's because Scorpions like to get to the bottom of things. I know that I for one ask a lot of questions that other people wouldn't ask (out of fear, or embarassment). And, as a result, I usually get told a lot of things quickly followed by, "Oh, I've never told anybody this before".

Maybe also that Scorpions are usually quite quick and accurate in summing up people and situations, so we skip the small talk and go straight to the nitty gritty.

It's dreadfully difficult to lie to a Scorpio
I have taught art classes at which a particular Scorpio used to ask penetrating questions. Not that I minded, I just, er, *noticed* it! I mentioned it in passing to a Scorpio friend who was also an art tutor, and she reckoned that sort of asking questions was *cheeky*.
So the fact that Scorpios need to ask a lot of questions of other people, whilst simultaneously withholding information about themselves, is pretty much correct. But I actually find I don't mind telling them certain things, because they are pretty understanding.

My best friend will say the first thing that comes to her head when she gets angry. We have been in some nasty fights and I almost ended the friendship because of things she said to me. Her parents are both aries and I'm not sure exactly of her chart but I think she could have a lot of aries aspects to it.

My scorpio boyfriend however tries to get down to the root of the problem, he is always asking questions and instead of getting angry at me or people in general, he will just make them feel intensely guilty just by what he says or even his face. And I find I just can't lie to him either....I don't know what would happen if I did lol

I find that one of my friends on the Scoprio/Libra cusp just doesn't get angry at all.....hurt and sulky but not angry....is that more a libra thing?

Hi... I reckon its coz scorpions have their own strong sense of whats right and whats wrong.. plus we also have an ability to empathize. Your scorpion teacher was once your age.. and he knows your reasons for doing what you did... even if u didnt tell him, he still knows ( hard to explain how we know.. but we just do,deep down inside, like a gut feeling) .. he'd know that you did what you did,out of mischief perhaps/or rebellion..but not out of an evil intent. Thats a big difference in scorpion vocabulary... i could forgive/overlook a mischievious trouble maker...i'd know why he needs the attention, and would try to help him put his world right. But, i'll certainly not have any time of day for an evil pre-planned act. (emphasis on pre-planned)

Yea, not much point in lying to a scorpion.. you'd only be condemning yourself ..coz, we'd see right thru... even if we sometimes pretend not to. Its interesting sometimes to see how deep one can get in their web of lies...before we finally call them out. Ah, human nature...

But, on the whole.. i reckon scorpions are fair in what they do... we like to see justice done. Someone has to defend the weak and innocent..non? Someone has to maintain law and order..And likewise, someone has to reward the kind and good hearted, the brave and the courageous.

Well, I'm a Scorpio...and I don't really "discipline" a person for their wrongdoing...actually, I have trouble being assertive...I have a Pisces Moon...I can get my feelings hurt easily...I usually sulk till I get over it...but I do have a very strong sense of justice...I usually sort things out in solitude...I think having boundaries with people is a good thing...but handling things in a positive manner.
I admire Leo's self-discipline...I've had several Leo female friends...they always seem so self-disciplined to keep their figure and keep up their appearance...and to keep up appearances with the way things are in their life. Scorpios are very strong...but can be so self-indulgent.

He! he! You're funny pixie.

Hi merciful1, how ya doing?... i've also got a piscean moon... yes, even i dont like confrontations, and prefer to retreat and heal in peaceful solitude.. he he .

Btw, when i spoke of scorpion and being a disciplinarian.. it was in context to the above deputy head teacher(its his job,u see). True, i dont think most other scorpions could be bothered with trying to go about disciplining people.. there's bound to be more fun things to do in this world than being a grumpy face!! ha ha ha!

A cheerful Scorp/pisces with a taurus rising.

maroon flower i completely identify with the avoiding confrontation issues! hehe
I have a scorpio moon and Ive noticed that I Can get away with lying to scorps (honestly!). Guiltily, I admit to the fact that I have lied to them. And part of it IS because they ask probing qs. My sister, a Scorp with Virgo Moon, irritates the heck out of me with her constant questioning about where Im going, what Im doing, who Im doing it with, etc. She seems like she was created to be a PI or detective or something. It can be quite distressful to my 'leave me alone freedom' thing hehe
Hey whats up with the libra/scorp cusp ppl, they can be very difficult to figure out, and they can be chamelion like in that you can't figure out their exact nature/qualities so far as anger, moodiness, depression, decisiveness, social abilities etc ? hehe anyone have any insight on that

i have 3 close friends that are cuspal libra/scorp

they are similar in their conscientiousness (sic) ,sensitivity and people skills. they all think that astrology is b*ll*cks too.
one of them, 25th Oct, despises humanity and has absolutely no time for stupidity. though he hides it well unless provoked.

one is born on the 23rd Oct and has an aquarian moon...he is a people person..never stays at home and hardly sleeps cos theres always something to do...loves loves socialising.

they are all tall. come to think of it... all the scorps i know are on the tall, skinny side...with straggly hair

the 23rd-er was a fat-cheeked bay-by...and he has a huge 'fro

he must be more lib...but linda says in Love Signs that when a person exhibits traits from the previous or next sign, its cos they have a rising or moon in that sign NOT cos they are cuspal

i might have posted that info already......oh,well

I had to hire out a van a couple of months ago. Unfortunately I misjudged the height driving through a garage with a low-level canopy and scraped the top, on the way back to taking it back to the hire centre. I swore quietly to myself from then on, and hoped to God no-one would notice.
Unfortunately, they did. The owner, who I hadn't met before then, a shortish guy with spiky light brown hair, very blacked-out sunglasses, and an inscrutable expression, walked all round the van and gazed up at the dented panel for a few seconds. "Well, that's new," he said. The sunglasses turned to me. "Do you know how it happened?" he asked quietly.
(Instantly, I knew: *You're a Scorpio*) I couldn't lie, so I ended up being £200 out of pocket.
I think the guy did actually feel quite sorry for me. On another occasion when I had to hire a van out, and met him again, he said to me: "Do come back," and obviously seriously meant it. It's amazing what Scorpios communicate through not actually saying very much.
