My friend is a Leo Sun (at 6 degrees) and has Venus in Gemini (at 25 degrees). How'd that happen?IP: Logged |

No that's not impossible, it can be two signs away, such as a Virgo Sun I know with Venus in Scorpio. He is pretty intense. It's not common but it happens.Natasha

Yeah. I have my sun at 14 degrees Gemini and Venus at 28 degrees Aries. Venus went retrograde for a while about a month before I was born.

Well my friend is a she. My best friend actually. I don't know if charming is the ideal word. She is very reserved when she first meets people..But she has a Virgo rising and Capricorn moon which could explain that. Incredibly intelligent, loyal, beautiful, kind, strong, funny (what a wit!), cynical yet idealistic and able to cut everyone down to size would be a more appropriate description. But I guess when you get to know her REALLY well she is quite a little charmer. She's extremely interesting, astrologically speaking, I'm currenlty studying her. IP: Logged |

Because the orbit of Venus lies within Earth's, from our geocentric point of view Venus always leads or follows the Sun by no more than 47.5 degrees. In your example they are 41 degrees apart. There is a good article both about the astronomy and astrology of Venus. http://www.khaldea.com/planets/venus_type.shtml BTW. Your friend sounds exactly like my best friend. She is a Leo with Gemini Moon and Virgo rising. Great people. IP: Logged |
