Good question. I wonder this, about a lot of the different charts that can be cast. The only thing I can think of is to cast the solar return chart both ways and then, take notes! Hopefully though, someone with more knowledge of astrology will be of more help to you. Personally, it makes more sense, in my head, to use your current location but, that's just an opinion. ~ geminstone IP: Logged |

The Solar Return stuff is not something I would consider "basic" when it comes to astrology, and there are some here who know more about it. I would say use your current location at the time of the Solar Return as supposedly a location can make a big difference as to the outcome of the SR. There are some people who will travel hundreds or even thousands of miles to a location just to have a great SR Chart (such as having Jupiter on the Midheaven or on the Ascendant, for example) or to a avoid a really crappy one.
