Hello Knowflakes!
Well, I've decided after many years of reading posts on this forum it was time to post one myself.
Funny, yesterday I thought I would post a question asking for some input on the transits this wonderful planet Pluto is making in my chart, but waited. Today the topic appeared...with others who are experiencing some similar effects.
Sometimes it's easier to interpret planetary movements when you are not "drowning" in the middle of them...I think the sense of despair this time has colored my ability to interpret my own with any accurate objectivity.
Currently I have transiting Pluto squaring natal Pluto, natal sun, and making a difficult aspect to natal Saturn. Transiting Saturn opposite ascendant.
Transiting Pluto almost conjunct natal mars with an orb of 4 degrees.
I am 35, lost my job in July and have not found new work (even with a darn masters degree!), my health has been bad and I am currently without medical insurance but in need of a specialist, finances...speaks for itself, trying not to loose my home, constant breakdowns and repairs (I mean constant, almost unreal, last one occuring on Christmas eve when my car broke down and left me stranded), and general loss of faith. I'm probably on the upswing (miracle miracle!) during the last couple of days, but the climb is a steep one.
I'd like some feedback on any of these planetary aspects...if that's possible without the whole picture...but I will mention that my natal sun and natal Pluto are conjunct and reside in the eighth house (also conjunct my south node, unfortunately!).
For all dealing with difficult transits...one thing I am certain of, you can always count on change...nothing remains the same.
Any feedback would be appreciated...thanks to Pluto's trip through my 11 house, most of my friends have mysteriously dissappated.
Thanks and Happy New Year Knowflakes!!!!!!

What Sign and House is your Saturn?

Actually, Saturn is sitting pretty close to the IC.

I'm looking at the influence that Saturn in Taurus in your 3rd House has to see how Pluto may be putting more stress there. Also, wanted to see what Sign your Saturn is because it is what will pull you through over the long haul. Me thinks Taurus is not a bad placement for Saturn in the sense that you will not be swept away if you hang in there, Taurus being a responsible and Fixed Sign.

But here's where you are, and the areas Pluto may be testing you :::

"Saturn in the Third House:

Communications tend to be cautious and restrained. This placement may actually indicate some sort of speech impediment, at least in youth. Communications tend to be important, too important. This can easily cause a dislike of small talk, and a fear of saying the wrong thing so that the person with this placement winds up saying nothing at all. The mind inclines to be too serious. These folks are the kind who will sit by themselves at a party and think "How can I be here having fun when I have all this serious work to do?". Lighten up. You’ll be healthier. Still, the mind is constructive and organized, even if it tends to be a bit slow (haste makes waste). If there are siblings, the older ones were more likely to pick on you, and the younger ones were probably a burden (perhaps you had to take care of them)."

AND

"Saturn in Taurus:

All a person with this placement needs to feel safe and secure is to have a roof over their heads, a few articles of clothing to wear, a little money in the bank, and, most important of all, ABSOLUTE certainty as to where their next meal is coming from. If they get these things, they will seem to be the least materialistic of people. Once that little bit of security is threatened, however, they climb the walls until they get it back."

AND

"Pluto Transits in Aspect to Natal Saturn:

The stressful aspects can make you believe that everything you need for safety and security is being destroyed. To some extent, this is true. Mostly though, it just feels that way. Saturn is the planet of fear. Pluto brings it out. Fortunately, Saturn also rules persistence and discipline and Pluto can activate those things as well. This can be an excellent time to start a long-term program of change. Want to do over your house? How about a weight reduction or work-out program? This can be a great time for things like that. In fact, circumstances may force you in those directions. When it comes to either Pluto or Saturn, don’t wait until they push you."

Oh, YES! If there's anything that causes me stress and FEAR FEAR FEAR it's lack of security as you described. Nothing else can get me like that. I'm overboard with stress in that area, always thinking I shouldn't spend a dime. Terrible. And now, everything feared has happened.
I wonder what I did to create that Karma this time around!
If Pluto is "testing" me, I wonder if the test is just to walk through what is feared the most so it no longer controls me or just wants to kick my ass, so to speak, to see what I'm made of. For a while, I was so low I thought I'd never make it out.
