Is that one of those things I've seen talked about, where the Sun's potency may be extinguished because of another Planet really close to it?

OH ... what is that called? I cannot think of it, but someone will ...

Other than that, can't think of anything else, and no Googling came up with anything. Does that software not have a HELP section or GLOSSARY to explain it?

Could it be "combust"? My sun is within 8 degrees of my mars and venus (so says the notes I'm making as I'm learning about my natal chart).

Not that this word sounds destructive, but my Mars and Sun are a partile conj. (same degree)

Angela

Edited: My Venus and Sun are partile, not Mars.

hold on, now...

the SUN is the ONLY one who can 'burn' things in our part of the universe!!!!! the Sun cannot BE combust!!!!

a planet very close (with 5*) is said to be combust, and a little bit further is 'under the Sun beams'.... BUT these notions are more usefull in horary and need not be involved in anything else. in horary, such a planet is weak and cannot perform its own purposes. in personality astrology, it simply simply speaks of idealism (for Mercury and Venus, which are close to the Sun more frequently) and the same priciple of intepretation can be aplllied for the other planets as well... the symbolism of the Sun and the other planet being interwinned. that's it! no drama, no fuss!

on the other matter, I need to look into it!
