I consider the Conjunction, Trine, Sextile, Quincunx (or Inconjunct), Opposition, and Square to be the most important aspects. There's a whole bunch more minor aspects, but I don't really consider them to be as important as the others.

...And the Ascendant in a Composite reveals how the couple appears as a unit. It's how the couple expresses themselves to the world at large and is the focus point of the whole relationship.
