I had something kind of funny happen to me last month right in the middle of Mercury Retrograde. ...Well at the time it wasn't too funny. Mostly annoying. But definitely ironic, as Mercury rules travel and the feet. And how Mercury apparently tried it's best to affect my movements on that day. I had just arrived at a Casino and was walking inside when I noticed that one of the boots I was wearing was feeling weird on my feet. I lifted my foot and something fell out from my boot. It was a metal plate that had held the sole of my boot together and now the sole of the boot was flopping and about to come apart. Apparently the entire boot was falling apart on me. What terrible timing! lol. Fortunately I had a spare pair of shoes in the car. But at that point I was practically a mile away from the parking lot. But I had to do something fast, so I immediately headed toward the car to change shoes before my sole fell off completely. Fortunately the casino had conveyor belts I could ride and escalators nearby, which would save me from walking any more than I had to. But of course it was just my terrible luck that both the conveyors AND the escalators were out-of-order that day...of ALL days! Mercury Retrograde strikes again! lol. So there I was, pathetically limping down the long corridors with my poor flopping boot. And I couldn't help but laugh while thinking about how the planets sometimes have a weird sense of humor. BTW - I thought Pisces/Neptune/12 House ruled the feet. How does Mercury fall into that slot? But I don't mean to step on your blue-suede-shoes - hubba hubba ...------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

LOL actually Neptune does specifically rule the feet. But I think that Mercury rules over travel, so in that regard it becomes a foot-related matter. ...But of course I could be totally wrong about that as my brain is rather clouded these days and I'm a bit loopy. And I'll have to go check and see what Neptune was doing in my chart on that day. Maybe Mercury and Neptune were in cahoots against me. IP: Logged |

...ok I checked my transits for that particular day and transiting Mercury was squaring my natal Mercury and (ouch!) Chiron. And thus, causing a T-Square that day in my chart between those three planets. (double ouch!) I guess that was retro-Mercury's special way of saying: 'I'll show YOU, Missy!' ...And Neptune wasn't being too nice either. It was squaring my Venus. (which it's being doing now for what seems like FOREVER. ) And T. Mercury on that day was in my 10th house of The Public. Which makes sense since my poor shoe was deteriorating in a VERY public place. IP: Logged |
