I was born on Sept 6 and i know 3 fellow virgos who were all born at least a week before me, around August and very early September. All of them seem far more Leonine than Virgoan to me... is this because those born in the early part of the signs display more of the characteristics of the sign that came before?

That may the the reason, but they may also have several planets and/or the Ascendant in Leo as well, which would help give them a more Leo-ian personality.

Hello. I am a Gemini sun, placed at 2degrees in my 7th house, which is in Taurus. I had never been able to relate to my Sun sign, when the relationship side to it was studied. I would always relate more to Taurus, in that department. However, when reading the Taurian Sun persona, I always felt it to carry a, very, materialistic tone and,..... maybe, I can be seen as such but, I would find no reason for that to be the impression I leave others with...? Thanks to the last year, or so, I don't even read the horoscopes of newspapers or magazines and, have gained insight to what had been , so confusing! So, basically, what I am getting at is that, in my existance and, experience with this kind of placement, I would say that everyone here is correct! Though, I had never thought about the Decans but, without much knowledge of them, in a quick recall, this would seem to reflect something interesting to me..... hhmmm. Thanks to all!

I feel the same in terms of my Rising. It's in Taurus 29.48 degrees, so Gemini is in most of my 1st House. But I don't feel I relate to either one exclusively (or any other sign for that matter - as far as Rising's go) ...

Hi AJ. Sorry, I just saw this thread again, after a bit of digging....
I do not relate, absolutely, to my Gemi Sun or, Taurus. I do carry around bits n pieces of each and, those are easy to pin! I am still trying to figure out my Ascendant, as I have been told that most charts are missing a key step. Fortunately, I have my Husbands sceptical mind to keep me from just grabbing anything and utilizing it.... however, I tend to push things anyway.... I just want to be sure and, sometimes I think, an, 'uninvolved', insight is necessary. Anyway, astro.com gives me an Ascendant at 22 degrees Scorpio and, that has been the info used from the start. Up until today, every site that casts charts, has given this one but, I did visit one today, that gave the other.... 4 degrees Sagittarius.... I don't know, I have a tendancy of overwhelming myself, trying to just get any of it, then I get something else, like this.... I can't let it go though, I want to have the correct info. So, I suppose the same can be said of my Ascendant, as of my Sun..... can we say schizo!!!!! hehehe...
