because Saturn deals with karma (among other things) and the sign in which your Saturn is placed you usually have alot of karma with, you need to learn the lessons of that sign in this lifetime. Look to that sign and what it's all about to learn what "hard" lessons you need to learn. (also look at the house it's in) The people of that sign will have alot to teach you and they MIGHT not be easy for you to get along with.

Mine's in Saggitarius. I get along heaps well with Sags and looking bk on things I think I've learnt things from them (they've helped me..usually career wise and at school that kinda thing). Sags hav actually been the most likely sign to kinda pop up out of nowhere and help me when im in a really bad situation and I dont even need to ask.

Oh yes, I must add that mine's in Leo (7th house) and I Leos. I just always seem to get along with them. But it's usually an intense relationship. In a good way...

Those are awesome concepts 26T! Mine's in Libra in the 6th House. So my hard lesson may be balance (which would make sense, I'm good at excesses). I have had a lot of issues with work, and some health issues with strangely relate to Capricorn (my MC). My Libra friend is my mentor and my best friend, and I always learn a lot from them.

Mine virgo and so far i never had any relationship/friendship with those virgos i have come across
I may get along with Virgos but i never felt like trying.
What aspect decides the sign which we cannot get along with?

my enemy whom i had ego clashes with and who with underhand manner defeated me is a scorpio. so r some of my good friends who have given me some scorpio wisdom.

btw, i always happened to fantasise about people for their behaviour and intensity who later would turn out to be scorpio!

My Saturn is in Aries, i don't think i have anyone close. Oh wait, except for my grandmother. She was always complaining that her 3 granddaughters didn't show her enough affection!! (younger sister and i are Aquarius, born the same day two years apart and my older sister is a Pisces) Maybe that's what i need to learn? More affection from the heart, less emotional crazyness from insecurity?

I have Saturn in Virgo...

My mother is a Virgo!!! ARRRGGGHHH.

I do get along with Virgos though... I even get along with my mother when we are in "friendship" mode... We share the same interests and outlook and what not... but in "mother" mode... ARRRGGHHHH... It's easily my most difficult relationship. I have issues with her. And although I get along with Virgos in general, she is the reason I flinch when I hear the word "Virgo"... LOL!

Okay wait, I'm confused . . . if my saturn is in scorpio 10th house, then is my lesson to be less intense in career matters or more intense?

Where Saturn is placed is where you have lessons. Take things seriously. The area in which most of your karma is tied up (the things pertaining to the house it's in). And the SIGN Saturn is in, and the keywords and influences of that sign, show us lessons that we need to learn. Like mine's in Leo. I have to learn about expressing that Leo part within me. Matters of the heart, self expression, etc. All things Leo. This is the area that I need to work on in this life. Along with 7th house issues because that is where it is placed. Does that make more sense?

Where Saturn is (house) and where it is closed up (sign's influences) are very important areas of our lives. They arent easy to us, but will prove to be the most rewarding if we work hard on them.

Think karma, lessons, work. And look to the sign and house and see where this all comes into play.

zoso - what u have to be is structured and disciplined. i guess saturn has little to do with intensity.

sthenri- i understand what u say. so i'll have to work on the scorpio within me. also my saturn is in 3rd house. so i'll have to be structured and disciplined like scorpio in communtication and with neighbours. right?

how do i go about it?

pluto is how cool or cold one is.
mercury is how logical one is.
uranus is how imaginative one is.
jupiter is how expansive and easy going one is.
saturn is how controlled and hard working one is.

Hi Archer,

I think you meant me, not sthenri. She wasnt in this string.

With a third house Saturn in Scorpio, matters of communication, short distance travel and siblings and close family members will be of great importance. As you know, Scorpio deals with sex, death, rebirth, transformation. Saturn in the third says that you have a sharp strong mind but have to work on coming across a little less authorative (Saturn) and harsh (Scorpio/Saturn). Your karma is tied up with siblings or close relatives, communication skills, and all things Scorpio. You have alot you need to learn from them (siblings/relatives and Scorpios in general) and also can teach them alot as well. Saturn in the third is saying you need to discipline your mind and work on your communication skills.

You must discipline your mind and find better ways of communication. Saturn wants you to take things seriously, and it is in your area of communication, so you may come off as very serious or cold to most people. You could be a powerful public speaker if you worked on that. Do you write? Poetry, stories? Saturn says you could develop a great skill there. But as we know, things dont come easy wherever Saturn is. You have to work for it.

You have a very serious, penetrating mind. Capable of deep concentration. Your early life could have been unhappy. You may feel a bit apart from your relatives. You might not feel connected to them. You have a tendency to get depressed and this can be overcome with some work. You are the "eternal student". You love to learn. And with Scorpio in that house, you like to dig deep and investigate subjects, and you are good at it. Emotionally you are intense and can be very secretive.

With this Saturn placement I should mention, you should not smoke.

What do you think of this? Does it help or make sense?

it does make sense. besides as a carefree sag i know i can get addicted to smoking so i have avoided it completely. never had it even once. btw, since last 3 years my studies have been in a turmoil. why is that so? saturn square saturn?

Yes, exactly. You may have trouble communicating and concentrating on your studies, but if you discipline yourself, you can become a very good student. You have a sharp mind. That is what Saturn in the 3rd is all about, effective communication and constant learning.

Your "studies could be in turmoil" because of Saturn square Saturn, but it could also be a number of different things. The point is, if you try and work at them (Saturn) you can turn that all around. But it wont come easy. You know though, that Saturn has many rewards waiting if you do the work. You have a great mind. Dont be lazy with it.

And I'm glad you have never smoked. Dont do it. This placement shows that it would be very bad for you. More than it would for most.

Good Luck! And do your homework young man!

I have an Aries 3ed house Satrun. I'd appreciate if anyone can help here. In my view my communcation skills are very good so I fail to understand what else? I also have NN in Aries.
I read somewhere that the 3ed house is also the house of courage?
