I read in Star Signs that Aries vibrates to C-major. I looked but couldn't find any list of either planetary musical notes, or notes for the signs. Funny on a piano keyboard there are 12 notes in a scale and twelve signs to go with them! C, C#/D-flat, D, D-sharp/E-flat E, F, F-sharp/G-flat, etc. I don't believe in the word "coincidence"........

Well if aries is C, then taurus would be c#, gemini D, cancer E flat/D sharp, leo E, Virgo F, libra G flat, scorpio G, Saggitarius A flat (i just realized thats my favorite major key, the key i often compose in , and i'm a sag, weird), capricorn would be A, aquarius B flat, and pisces woudl be B...what this could possibly mean i have NO CLUE....they might not be distributed like this.

My favoite keys are C minor and A flat major...and i'm a sag sun scorp moon cap rising....whats your preferences?

Ya know? I used to play the flute, and E was my fav. note!!! I'm a Cancer. Interesting.
Oh, how I reminisce about the days of E.
Left hand, a thumb and three fingers. Right hand a thumb for balance and two fingers for "E."

The Aries-C-on-up thru the Pisces-B#/C-flat-progression has to be too easy! I'm a Libra Leo Rising Pisces Moon. Perhaps because I've played guitar for many years I can always hear D in a song, but all I have in Gemini is Jupiter, and what could it all mean....????? I like songs in the key of G but what influence does that mean Scorpio has? I have Merc in Scorp.....
My mother is a Cappy and can always hum middle C from the piano.
This speculation is fun and fascinating, but probably not accurate. Any moderators or scholars out there have some references? Did Linda write anything more than what I read in Star Signs in the chapter called Forgotton Melodies?

I'm a Pisces. My favorite keys are C# minor, A flat major, G minor, and D minor. Now that it was mentioned, I do like B major, and minor... But... yeah. What a weird thread. Haha...

how very creative!
My favourite key is F-major, which has a B-flat, and I think that is why I like it. (and I'm a sun Aquarius). I also like A-minor..wonder what that means.

C-major sounds very Aries-like to me!

this is so very very interesting..(and kind of odd, yes)

ooh..I just thought of why C-major, especially the scale, sounds Aries-like..when I hear it, I think of a little kid learning to play the piano- it's the first scale you learn. They're imaptient but talented..they show off by playing the scale. And it sounds very bold, bright, confident, cheerful- nothing too mysterious.
I don't know..that was my vision.

Chopin was a pisces, and one of the most unique composers for any instrument, ever. Chopin is the only composer where you can take one measure of his music and know it's his. Each phrase has his signature stamp of melody, harmonics, and ornamentation. In my opinion Chopin was one of the greatest musical geniuses ever. He was a pisces. His sentiment, compassion, pain, and spirituality all pour through his music.

Mozart has Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn & Chiron in Aquarius, all in the 5th House, except for his Venus in the 6th (more detailed expression of his Venusian music?). He has his Asc and North Node in Virgo, the NN in his 1st House. His MC is in Gemini. Lot's of nervous energy!

Beethoven has his Sun, Moon & Mercury in Sagittarius, all in his 2nd House. His Jupiter (rules Sag) is also in his 2nd House, but in the Sign of Capricorn. His Venus & Pluto are also in Capricorn, but in his 3rd House (could this have drawn out his expressiveness?). His Asc & North Node are in Scorpio, his NN in his 1st House. His MC is in Leo. Lots of passion!

These two composers seem so different, Mozart more Mercurial and "cerebral". Beethoven being more steadfast and passionate. Both have their North Nodes in their 1st House.

**** ADDED/EDITED ****
