i thought you'd like to know i came across an album that has a track by elliot smith. it's an album i've owned for a while but haven't listened to much; the band is called goldenboy and the album title is blue swan orchestra. elliot sings on the 6th track i think, called summertime. i came across this band several years ago when i was shopping one saturday afternoon at a small indie record store in dallas called good records. they (goldenboy) were playing an acoustic set there that day and they sounded really good, so i bought their album. recently, i went on a road trip and i brought that CD along with me, and i was pleasantly surprised and shocked when track 6 played and i heard elliot's voice! it's a nice song, and it made me sad all over again about his death.
