i just discovered..my very best friend growing up.. her and i have our ascendents conjunct.. both in libra.. tight conjunction too.. both of us have pluto conj asc.. and saturn, neptune, uranus conjunct eachother's.. in the same houses too.. is this common? IP: Logged |

In the same Houses? Cross your heart? Hee hee ... NO! ... I wouldn't say that's common. How cool to be able to look into the astrological bonds of two best friends. Did you go through the same basic things as time went on, and at the same basic time? It's almost like you have a twin bond.

we are very similar in alot of ways.. divorced parents, love of writing and music are just a couple of examples.. sure we had similar experiences growing up, we were inseparable.. she was the "good" one.. her mom hated me.. she'd tell her mom that she was going to the gym to work out.. then she'd come pick me up in her rattley old car.. we'd get coffee and drive around, chainsmoking and listening to the radio..
the only times when she'd get into trouble were because she was with me..
no regrets, she'd say..
"we're given life to find it out, it doesn't last forever" (you know what movie that's from?) no surprise to me that our mars' are in opposition.. we cannot spend any time together without getting into a bicker-match.. neither of us have real attitude problems.. but we bring them out of eachother often. we are fabulous queens of our own lives, with a sort of diva-complex when we talk.. together, we are divas. she is well educated, in a relationship no children.
my education is different.. didn't graduate high school, studied occult arts on my own. relationship, 2 kids both of us have worked at a bazilloin different espresso bars over the years. damn, i could go on and on.. i'm really floored by the similarities in the charts.. IP: Logged |

Wow - that's such a cool story. Is that line from "What Dreams May Come?" I'm honestly guessing and not googling or anything. But the line seems to fit the theme of that movie.So a Virgo with Sag Moon girl behaves better than a Cappy with Aqua Moon girl ... hmmmm ... good morning couple of things..
i understand that there are many many people in the world who share my ascendant and would thus have similar charts, and with the speed of the outer planets the folks born around the same year as me could have so many conjunctions of similar placements..
what i found odd was that this was the case with my friend of 15 years..
i feel somewhat ridiculed. also, maine accents and boston area accents are not very similar.. maine's downeast accent is more of a "you cain't git theya from heya" a sort of drawn out hiccupy sound to it..

laglady, if you were born around the same time, you will have many conjunctions, house placements. please explain what you mean by 15 years friendship. Do see some correlation between an enduring friendship and conjunctions? Hope you didn't feel I was riduculing, just being playful.I agree Boston & Maine accents are not exactly the same..just "not that different".. like comparing an orange with a tangerine IMO. please pardon my bitchiness.. i suppose ihave my moments.. yea, i was referring to the similarities and conjunctions.. obviously when making frinds in elementary school we don't think to ourselves "are we compatible astrologically?" i was intrigued that all these years later.. looking at the charts.. it's no wonder we have the relationship that we do.
