I was looking on astro.com and noticed that my north node is retrograde.

Since the north node is not a planet, per se, how could the nn be considered retrograde????

If this is possible, how would you interpret that?

I think it was Archer who pointed out something about the Nodes always being Retrograde or something like that?

Let me see ...

I think this explains it a little bit. Not sure if ALWAYS Retrograde, or for long periods. Never actually thought about it, so I'm learning too :::

(and it appears my NN in Leo in my 4th House is Direct)

That's a good question. But unfortunately I have no idea why that is, either.

..btw my Nodes are retrograde too. (NN in Gemini, SN in Sag)

AJ ~ I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure I have seen instances of times when the Nodes are not retrograde. (Although I think the non-retrograde times are few and far between.)

I think I have read over in the Free Astrology course forum that there are instances where NN are not retrograde. I know mine is direct in my natal. I don't know anything else about it.

i correct myself. sometimes they do go direct.

my own NN is direct, my chiron being the only retrograde.
btw, their general motion unlike other planets is retro.
