I suppose I'd like to think I was "daring" - since, after all, I am an Aries, and have strong desires - but I am actually quite conservative in my attitudes to sex/relationships. I do tend to commit myself to people, whether in a friendship or relationship, for a long time, no matter how difficult I find it. I grit my teeth and work through the situation. I've noticed this tendency to "hang in there" with other Aries, too. Is it laziness - an appreciation of what's good for us - or a realization that the grass isn't always greener? I think basically Aries is naturally loyal/faithful, particularly with strong Piscean/Taurean influences. I'm more tolerant than I used to be of certain sexual attitudes, but I still consider myself fairly conservative. I have Mars in Gemini, which would seem to indicate flightiness - but in the 10th House alongside Saturn, so I think that endows me with a sense of responsibility - casual encounters wouldn't ultimately be for me, I couldn't cope with the emotional fallout. Sun in the 8th takes everything pretty seriously, as well. LOL AriesTiger IP: Logged |

I'd look to Venus/7th House, Mars/1st and/or 8th House, and Saturn/10th House. Attraction, action, and "hanging in there", respectively.IP: Logged |

Yes definitely look to the 5th House for love affairs...and falling in love in general. 8th House for sexxx. ...and the 7th House for partners (not necessarily for sex, but hey, it helps if you actually LIKE the person you're sleeping with, right? ) IP: Logged |

Well, I've got Venus in the 6th...(lot of activity there, have Moon and Jupiter in the 6th as well. More "responsibility!") And Mars in the 10th... Both Earth-ruled houses. I have strong 6th-8th-10th House vibrations. Empty 5th and 7th houses. IP: Logged |

ariestiger what are the ruling planets of your 5th & 7th Houses? Because what sign & Houses they're in and the aspects they make will reveal a lot about your 5th & 7th House matters. IP: Logged |

Ariestiger -You GOT IT! OK ... As for bringing up the 5th for atttaction, I'm gonna want to explore that myself. I have a Libra Sun in the 5th - and I'm not attracted to Leo's. My 5th House Cusp is ruled by Mercury > my Mercury is in Scorpio in my 6th House > butts head with my Sun in the 5th. So I wonder. IP: Logged |

I think there are two main attitudes, one where any sort of sensual stimulation between people should be in a committed relationship, and those who think touches outside of a committed realtionship are more exciting and so indulge.there are those who give stimulation and don't think it's interesting and those who do, and we change attitudes in life, some of us are much more hypersensitive to touch, depending on how much affection we had as children. That always seems to stay the same. If you are very sensitive you will either develop a guilt complex about it, or construct your lifestyle around accepting this. Natasha

Hi sassygirl,My 5th house is in Cap/Aq - so ruler would be Saturn (uh!)/Uranus, and my 7th in Pisces/Aries, so ruler would be Neptune/Mars. Ascendant is also in Virgo. I'm beginning to make connections now...This is VERY INTERESTING!!!!! Natasha, I was interested to read what you had to say about "touching" and guilt complexes. I am not very openly touchy-feely, I don't like people I've only just met touching me. I get embarrassed when girlfriends hug me, which has always been the case. By contrast, in a committed relationship, I go overboard, can't get enough of the physical presence of the person. LOL AriesTiger IP: Logged |

Venus in Aries -"In Detriment Relationships are a reflection of own romantic ideas. Lust often overcomes love in impulsive relationships." In 8th House - "Modified by other's people's financial states. If well-aspected, legacies and benefits may accrue from relatives or business partnerships." In 12th House - "Expressed through clandestine relationships. Tendency to be secretive in expressing romantic involvements. But, can also show tendency to be of service to all types of individuals and can be unselfish." Mars in Aries -
"In Dignity Act directly, often without consideration for other people's wishes. Ability to handle life courageously. Sexual nature can be self-gratifying." In 8th House - "Dependence on other people's financial and/or emotional resources to fulfill personal goals. Positions can be helpful in helping other people rearrange the structure of their lives." In 12th House - "Good strategist, since inner plans are not revealed easily. There are apt to be secret enemies or skeletons lurking in the closet." IP: Logged |

neptune's mermaid -"Saturn in the 7th House - and if it is dignified or received, especially if it is in sect, then according to Paulus Alexandrinus: "it rejoices, if indeed it should be found in its own zoidion, trigon or exaltation. For it will make those who are long-lived, successful after a time, long-lasting, and wealthy...". [23] This is because Saturn, signifying the quality of life in the golden years (by being in the 7th house and by being the most lengthy chronocrator), brings awareness of proper boundaries in relationships, balancing the light and knowledge of the day with darkness and privacy. If Saturn is lord of the 7th house in similar conditions to the above, then success comes but earlier in proportion to how far it is from the ascendant. If Saturn is out of sect in this place (or as lord of this place), it is an indicator of difficulty in understanding one's marriage partner, or adversaries are able to conceal their true intentions (especially if many degrees of the descendant be below the horizon) and the native may be in abject circumstances in old age. In either case modern astrologers show this to be a contributing cause of May-December romances and marriages, and those who marry late in life." Pluto in the 7th House - You've got 5 Web pages, starting with this link ::: http://groups.msn.com/interpretations6/plutoin7th1.msnw "Jupiter in the 8th House - and if dignified or received, it often indicates a larger than usual inheritance or an uncontested will. Generally this is also an indication of marrying "up" to a partner with many resources. With Jupiter in sect, banks will generally be more willing to lend, and your credit will generally be good.
In ancient times, this was because lenders would be willing to take it on faith. A dirunal Jupiter enforces faith, because you cannot see beyond the blue sky in the daytime. But if Jupiter is in debility, afflicted, or out of sect, it can indicate the scattering of resources upon anothers death and/or the need to hire lawyers to straighten out an estate at some point due to a contest. In general, little will be taken at face value and there will be a need to prove your rights. You should take personal control of your finances as your mate will generally be more wasteful."
