How much thought do astrologists put into considering the Houses when looking at how much influence is Mutable, Fixed, or Cardinal?

For example - if you have most of your Planets in the Houses which are Ruled by Fixed Planets - Would that incline one to have a more "Fixed" nature? And if so, how much credence should we give to those Houses when looking at this?

an amateur's perspective- I would think it would be significant. Just like the elements of the houses are taken into consideration- why not the modalities?
edit: also, I would imagine the house(s) which house(s) ( ) the luminaries would weigh in more when evaluating the tendencies of the individual.

Thanks Whiterabbit -

I just didn't understand what you meant by the line you added in your "edit". But I understood everything else.

sorry, AJ, didn't express myself well there. I meant that the modalities of the ruling planets of the houses where the luminaries are would be particularly important. As in- let's say sun and moon both in cardinal houses would add a LOT of cardinal energy.
