Jupiter (which is currently in Libra) is turning Retrograde today until June 5. Here is what I found about Jupiter Rx: 'Jupiter retrograde is when the things we think we need but aren't really adding to our growth, are somehow removed from our lives. The end result is beneficial and the quest to understand is the journey and the teaching.' ..And also this: 'Working with others becomes even more important as Jupiter begins its retrograde transit in Libra. It's a powerful period for resolving conflicts, for understanding and appreciating differing beliefs and spirituality's and for gently bringing justice and fairness into play.'

Hmm, it will be interesting to see the effects. Jupiter should be CJ my Pluto and Uranus at some time this year, trining my Mars and Saturn and also my husband's Sun. I think this period will be quite a definitive one for him, workwise. IP: Logged |

This Jupiter retro will be dancing around my 7th and 8th houses... conjuncting my saturn right as it goes retro... Any thoughts on the effects of which house Jupiter will transit during it's retro motion? I'm curious about this whole process, it seems more interesting than mercury retrograde. IP: Logged |

I don't think that Jupiter Retrograde is as bad as, say, Saturn Retrograde. ...But of course, it really depends upon what Houses of your natal chart Jupiter will be transiting through & the aspects it will be making to your natal planets. Jupiter is currently transiting my 8th House, so I'm a bit curious as to how it's going to effect me regarding all of those fun 8th House things such as sex, death & taxes. IP: Logged |

jupi is at the border of my 1st and 2nd house. i just didn't realise it was in my first house since so long. over the period of 1 and a half years i have gained 30 kilos! is that because of jupiter in my house of image?IP: Logged |

It's probably the most likely culprit, Archer. Jupiter transiting the 1st House can give one a tendency to easily gain weight during the transit. When Jupiter transited my 1st House, I gained the most weight I had ever weighed in my whole life, which wasn't much as I was still considered technically underweight. But it was still a weight gain nevertheless, which for me was a bit of a miracle. lol. After Jupiter finished transiting my 1st House, the few extra pounds went away on their own, and I was back to being the same skinny lass I had always been. IP: Logged |

Jupiter has been transiting and setting off my husband's second house in Libra, where he has Sun-Mars-Jupiter conjunct (THE mark of an entrepreneur). It has been a very expansive, optimistic time for his business, attracting 2 new contracts in the millions, but also (with Mars in the middle) one full of legal issues and lawsuits, conflict and betrayal. Jupiter expands everything it touches-- including negative aspects of whatever sign it's traveling through.
