I am an Aries, Aries Moon, Virgo rising who is madly in love with a Cancer, Sag Moon, Cancer Rising.

YIKES. When things are good they are wonderful but when they are bad they are horrible. Despite being brilliant and sensitive he has no job and was recently evicted. He is not your typical stable, steady Cancer, and he's also been in trouble with the law.

I am far more adept at interpreting natal charts than synastry charts. If some of you would take a look at our synastry, I'd really greatly appreciate it. I am strongly considering leaving my job, family, friends and fairly secure life to go live with him 450 miles away and I'd like to be armed with the knowledge that a synastry interpretation could provide. I have tried doing it myself and have read both my natal chart and his, but when I ran a synastry chart I quickly came to the conclusion that I wasn't knowledgeable or objective enough to pull off a good interpretation.

My birth data:

April 14,1980, New Orleans, Louisiana @ 4:23 PM.

His birth data:

July 11, 1973, Los Angeles, California @ 4:30 AM.

Is the great love we have for each other enough to justify this move?

Many, many thanks in advance for reading this.

As a Taurus I say don't be an impulsive Aries and move without alternate plan. But, being ruled by Venus I wish you could follow your hearts desire. Synastry is very tough, but i'll take a look and give you a few positives and negatives. Good luck with any decision you make.

Your Moon conjuncts his Mars and trines his Venus - that should mean you get along well, like being with each other, and have passion, combine that with Mercury trine Mercury and you both should be able to work through most problems... if given a chance to do so.

Now for some tough aspects. Your Moon opposes his Uranus, Your Pluto squares his Sun and your Mercury opposes his Pluto & Neptune and squares his Saturn. These could point to a problem long term with communication; including personal wants, needs, direction in life, etc.

Have you two discussed what is to be expected of the other person in a relationship? I know as an Aries you probably have firm ideas about how you will and will not live, will and won't do, etc., with these aspects I would suggest you make sure he understands, agrees, can handle it and is up to the challenge.

Other thing's I noticed in your charts:

Your sun and moon being in the 7th house could make you feel best when in a relationship or part of a family unit and typically a Cancer would be the ideal mate to have a family with (you just have to find out if its this Cancer).

Your boyfriend's Cancer sun and rising (double Cancer) should make him naturally opposed to cheating. Beware though that he could also be especially sensitive to any and all criticism... I am not saying Aries excel at that or anything.

P.S. if you decide to move can I sublet your flat in San Fran? lol, jk

No. No. No. No. Do not move to SF for someone who has no job, has been evicted, and has been in trouble with the law.

No. You do not do this. No.

You have a job? Friends? Family? Maybe he can move to your location - not move in with you, but to your location.

Advice from an older Aries sun/moon conjunct - I understand, but don't do it.
Love,
Key

^Thanks for your input everyone. To clarify, I'm the one in SF, and I'm staying here... if he chooses to clean up his act and join me in this lovely city, then so be it... if not, I'm far from lonely.

I ran our composite chart and there are both favorable and unfavorable aspects... most notably very similar grand trines to my natal chart, except my natal grand trines are fire trines and composite with his are air. We communicate very well, so this isn't a surprise.

Hi Aries Butterfly -

Sounds good! We both have aries sun/moon conjunct - and earth sign rising (you, virgo; me, capricorn). Nice to have that solid rising sign to keep us grounded!

My daughter is in SF. I am glad you are the one located in SF - and that you are staying there! It is such a fun city. I just got back from San Jose, where we were exhibiting at an optics show - at the convention center. Such a beautiful area.

Thanks for getting back -
