Hi all, I was wondering about the role of the Asc with relationships....for example, i'm a Saggie sun with Cap Asc. I know that the Asc is how the world sees you but would it be relevent with how you relate to people? I have venus and mars in libra too so I am attracted to Libras. I like having an earth asc and whilst my Sag sun loves freedom, I do like to feel secure at the same time. I'm not quite sure what I'm asking really...i'm becoming attracted to water signs at the moment tooIP: Logged |

Hi Sag,I'm a Scorpio with Capricorn on the Ascendant. The asc is not just how people perceive you, it also signifies your instinctual approach to the world. Among other things, Cappy ascendants are sensitive, cautious, and tasteful. I've read that they are not nearly as ambitious as Cappy Suns, but, are often content to be secure. ------------------ "I want to love first, and live incidentally." - Zelda Fitzgerald IP: Logged |

Am I attracted to Virgo's? Yes, in friendship and romance. Also noticed last night that the last Virgo who enjoyed my soul has Capricorn as his asc. (my dad's sun sign, as well as my moon sign.) Funny really, me with Cappy moon and Virgo asc. Him with Virgo sun and Cappy asc. IP: Logged |

Hi, I also tended to think that having a Cap Asc is boring..but people do take me seriously though which is a good thing. Is it a hard sign to have on the Asc? IP: Logged |

I'm a saggie sun with Cap Asc, too!Sometimes I feel bad when (especially at work) people tend to view me as responsible and reliable. The actuality of it, though, is that I'd rather call in sick to go camping or snowboarding and if I let myself get carried away with having fun, I usually never come back to work. For a few years I had some problems with this, only keeping a job for a few months and then jumping from job to job because I'd rather be out and having fun. I always got hired because I seem serious and then I'd eventually let everyone down. Now, I have to pay bills, so I stick with my job and just work part-time so I have plenty of freedom. Sooner or later you just have to grow up and take your responsiblities and you learn that it gives you more freedom (and money to have fun) in the end. I'm wondering if someone with a venus in Capricorn would be attracted to me because of my ascendant? IP: Logged |

Hi zoso! How cool that u have the same as me...it is a stuggle at times I think. I'm at University and i work hard (leo moon also likes to be praised) but at times I want to forget it all and go off travelling....I am going to North Carolina for nine months in August so that should satisfy me:-)Interesting question about the venus in Cap...IP: Logged |

Sparkling Sag, Your attraction to water signs is because you have Cancer on the descendant. Your natural partner. IP: Logged |

Hi Lalinda, I always have it in my head that i'm not supposed to get on with water signs maybe because I used to think that i'm too fiery for them but I heard the analogy the other day about fire and water creating sizzling steam. So that's a good thing. And also, whilst I can be blunt and tactless (without menaing to be)I like to be comforted by water signs and I love Cancers too! They can be at times overwhelmingly emotional for me..I somehow move past that and soften up. IP: Logged |

My Virgo Ascendant is the only Earth in my chart, and a welcome addition. It doesn't seem to do any harm in the attraction stakes, but I am always slightly shy at first meeting. And, of course, there needs to be lots of conversation and a certain level of commitment before getting down to more important matters... IP: Logged |
