How do you interpret a sign that's not in any cusp? My boyfriend has Aries 4th and 5th house cusp, and Gemini on the 6th, so Taurus is in the middle there. Thing is that I;m a Taurus sun, and even though my Sun falls in his 5th house, what exactly happens to any Taurean qualities he can learn from if that sign isn't really anywhere...he doesn't have any planets in Taurus either, except for Chiron if you count that. Thanks for any help. Hi moonstar,It's called an interceped sign. It is intercepted in his 6th house. I dont know much about intercepted signs except I have heard they flower or come to light as the person grows. As time goes on that aspect of the person shows itself more and more. When they are young it is hidden or not a real conscious part of them yet. That's the best way I can describe it. Good question, I've thought alot about it too. And this is just something I picked up along the way. IP: Logged |

Ooh ok. Yeah, I've heard of that term before, but never knew what it was. Thank you for sharing that. Then, it's possible that those Taurean qualities (which I find invaluable hehehe) can still exist. It sounds kind of Saturnish, growing older and learning those sign's qualities...IP: Logged |

Oh yes, there is a part of that sign in him that exists. We all have every sign somewhere in us, in a certain part of us. It's like a seed that is buried and will eventually grow into something. It's still there but a little hidden at first. Still very there though. It does sound a little Saturnian, but I think it's more of something important that will eventually develop in someone. I'll try to find more info for you. I'm interested too because I have Aqua intercepted in the first. Let me know if you dig anything up. IP: Logged |

What I've read on this is that the signs "missing" or intercepted, especially if many aspects are being made to their ruler (as in Venus if the sign is Taurus), then that energy is already well-integrated into the chart and as a result the person doesnt have to deal with having it on a cusp. Ohh major run on Something regarding karma etc.IP: Logged |

I love run-ons. I do them all the time.Veeeeery interesting. My intercepted Aquarius in the first's ruler Uranus is conj. MC, sextile ASC, square Mars, trine Jupiter........ That makes perfect sense. Yes, very integrated. Wow, cool thanks for the info. IP: Logged |
