Saturn in Cancer is still Retrograde throughout the month. We are compelled again to re-evaluate what are needs for security are. We think and take notice of our family relationships and how well they are functioning for us. Family situations do not progress too far and we bear more family responsibilities than usual. We are also very aware whether we feel closeness with our loved ones or not.

Jupiter in Libra @ 18° stations Retrograde on the 1st and will not Station Direct till October 25 which is a very long time for it to be Retrograde. Jupiter in Libra makes us feel very generous and hopeful toward our relationships. We are very optimistic that our encounters with others will turn out great. However, during the Retrograde period we have to rethink about what is really important about our relationships and how we can improve them. Certainly not a good time to start new ones as they may change entirely once Jupiter stations direct. Sometimes we meet people from old relationships and we finish and tend to issues with them that were left unfinished previously.

The South Node conjoins Jupiter in Libra all month and we are swept away into overdoing and giving too much to our relationships. Sometimes we are disappointed as we expect others to give back what we have given and they do not. So be realistic and fair to yourself. Give as much as it is comfortable for you and do not feel obligated that you have to give more. Do not ever exceed you limits and that way you will not be disappointed. Giving should be a natural and joyous desire not a chore. Relationships should not be "one-sided", remember both the need to give and receive.

Pluto in Sagittarius makes a nice trine to the North Node in Aries this month. This gives us personal power (Pluto) to help us to achieve personal independence (Aries). We are more willing to take risks and act independently. We are more energized to pursue our unique identities and become more of who we really are.

Neptune direct in Aquarius also trines Jupiter in Libra (a positive aspect) most of the month. Our relationships become more positive too and we feel more like connecting with others and also rekindling some of our old relationships. Our conversations with others become more equal (Aquarius).

Sun in Aquarius also conjoins Neptune (@15°) on the 3rd. We feel extremely idealistic and sensitive toward others. Good time for creative and poetic endeavors and music. We feel more in harmony with our environment which nurtures our well-being. Mercury also joins the Sun and Neptune on the 8th and 14th. We may have intense dreams. Venus also conjoins Neptune on the 14th @15° too. This is a lot of Neptune influence so we may not be thinking very straight even though we have the urge to be romantic and loving toward others. Not a good time to be making hard business decisions or signing contracts. It is a good time however to make creative decisions about decorating, writing poetry, listening to music, etc.

On the 8th there is a New Moon @20° Aquarius. New Moon days are power days for starting new things. This Moon is good for joining a Group and becoming more involved in the community. Aquarius people love innovative ideas, knowledge, friends, unexpected surprises, equality. Make wishes concerning these topics and and work on achieving them till the next New Moon.

The Full Moon on the 23rd @5°41' Virgo semisquares Saturn and is opposite Uranus (Pisces). This is a frustrating lunation if it hits your chart as there are blockages and restrictions that must be dealt with. Issues concerning work and health need to be clarified. Emotional dramas bring attention to matters of the body and soul (Virgo & Pisces).

On the 25th the Sun conjoins Uranus @6° Pisces. Unusual and unexpected behavior shocks and delights us. Expect a surprise. The unexpected shakes up traditional roles and values. The influence of Uranus in an aspect can be very disruptive and disconnecting to someone experiencing it in their chart.
