Topic: OK, well THIS was unexpected...

This morning I come into my Dad's house (he blimin knew I was coming as well..) and see a woman's coat on the stairs. I go upstairs and hear a woman's voice from his bedroom. The reason this was so unexpected is because my Dad is someone I expected to be quite shy, not only that but he's not usually emotional and doesn't seem like someone who would um.... do this. He practically ignored my mum for 14 years out of 17. I'm only 14, so, hey, I'm a little fazed.Apparently, she is a Pisces. He is a Pisces. He doesn't believe in astrology at all, so maybe I feel like I have one up on him here. How would a Pisces-Pisces relationship go?
Plus, I am a Virgo  how much is this going to bug me??? Thirdly, and most important- do Piscean women make patronising adults? Are they the type to hold out a hand to 'kids' and go

as far as i know pisces , its a yes for the second part of the question . bcos ,pisces , they being the water signs are normally respectable unless provoked . second important thing , they believe in working according to a fixed image that they make of themselves . as far as i know , among the water peoople , cancers are the only people who do not usually work on a image . third important thing , u are visiting your dad , that means ( to her ) that u have a cordial relation with your dad , so the pisces would go on to try having a good relation with u too .b'cos for , pisces end is more important than the means , they make mistakes without thinking of the future consequences , just for the pleasure of it .
i dont know if the analysis that i have put here, is still valid .

cancerrg!  That is so sweet of you to dig out this old post.
Your answer is still completely valid... because the situation is still pretty much the same.
Thank you for your answers... that's very insightful as I don't know that much about Pisceans. I figured they may be the type likelier to be 'buddyish' with kids... nothing really wrong with that, it just bugs me. Seems like an aspect of adult patronising.
It's like many months on and I still haven't met this women because of my insecurities. Plus, I just don't particularly want to. For some bizarre reason, I don't think I would be able to feel good about being nice to her. I don't want to but then I don't want her to hate me either. I hate the thought of being hated by someone, or even disliked!  I think she wants to meet me but my Dad hasn't really conveyed this to me in an enthusiastic way, although I get the feeling this irritates her.My Mum is a Virgo, (like me), with a Pisces ascendant.
My Dad is a Pisces with a Virgo ascendant.
Although I love them equally, I think I know I'm closer to my Mum because I spend more time with her and she will express her feelings to me and generally talk to me. Oh gawd MNF, I think that would make me angry to come home to that. I'm not trying to scare you, but I found that two watery parents were more than I could take. They had problems though, so if these two get along, it might not be so bad...

sorry , dont have much idea a bout the pis-pis relation , i have known some pisces infact one them is a childhood friend but i can't say about the relation between them .some one pointed this to me , i believe it was steel rose , that a water -water relation is a difficult one . though i have had a relation with a cancer , i feel we got along quite well but ofcourse there are things that i can't be very sure of b'cos first , she is younger to me so iam more caring towards her she can act lot more stuborn with me than what other people are allowed too ( infact it works well with cancer woman , it may backfire with others , even with scorps) then secondly we had a relationship of silence where no words were required , infact i find it very irritating when my friends go on and on with those silly romatic dialogues with thier woman ( i can't live without u type ,hahahahah) so where was i? oh, the buddyish thing , yeah i think they remain buddyish but they also wont allow u to cross a certain line . remember they work on thier images a lot . and yes pisces discuss emotions much less than other waters . infact i dont remember discussing my emotions with the pis friend that i am talking of , but that doesn't mean they are not emotional . may be its just thier way . your insecurities ? your dad and mum are seperate now , so what can be the insecurity ? can i help u there ? do u really feel like irritating her ? its quite ok if you want to , eeveryone would like to ! btw my mum is a virgo too and my venus is in virgo!

my mom is virgo w/ pisces moon and stepdad is pisces w/cap moon. they were a nightmare together. they loved and hated each other equally. although i was upset when they split (i was 14.. tuff age), i was happy to no longer have to listen to them argue constantly. IP: Logged |

That does worry me mainly because the only way I ever connect with adults (and the main reason I probably feel more relaxed around them than other teenagers) is because I feel I am able to say more and not be judged by it hopefully due to their maturity and understanding!  But if she would be the type easily fazed by risque humour and smart alec children then I will be able to establish no connection there whatsoever!
I am feeling insecure because I dread that with women like this ( I have a feeling she may be similar to my mother which worries me more ) it will feel like being twelve again and all those horrible insecurites about how I'm not like other kids will come back. If I were to put a good light on it, I'd say I'm not 'light and trivial' or conventional. My interests in clothes music and pretty much everything aren't so normal. Plus, I go to a 'smart' school which can intimidate a lot of adults... although they really shouldn't feel that way unless they doubt their own intelligence anyway lol so those are the insecurities..

I don't know all that much about Pisces, but the ones I've known could certainly handle this aspect of you (I would think). I don't think they're easily phased by people's different versions of fun.

hy mnf,what i mean when i say that they wont let u cross acertain line is that u 'll be allowed evertthing , u'll be a friend but u 'll also be ever a kid , someone younger to them .
now , i am not very sure if its a societal thing or sign thing . there could be diff according to the societal norms . yours and mine are different . i can't say about the humour part , may be ag is correct there.

i am not sure about your query regarding this . but i can say for sure for the second part , it solely depends on u whether u want them to be intimidated . the onus is on u . they might have some apprehension , but its for u to make them comfortable ( if u want to have the relation) . and i dont think they doubt thier intelligece , its a cancer trait not pisces .
even if they do , u 'll need a lot of time and a very close relation to know thier weakness . remember they dont discuss thier emotions .
