The Year of the Wood Rooster

The Rooster rules the roost now, taking over from the Monkey. This is a more serious time. It is likely to be characterized more by accomplishments than surprises.

In general the Rooster is favorable for career and unfavorable for relationships. And, the Wood Rooster is also favorable for health and fitness.

Pursue your career in earnest. Seek training to prepare for advancement. Dress to impress. This is the time you want to be noticed by the people who can help you. The best gains can be made in these careers: fashion, beauty, military, banking, management, activism, medicine, and ecology.

If you are having problems in a relationship, this will be an especially trying year. A separation is even possible. Regardless, this is a time to avoid arguments and other actions that create stress. A hurtful word said in haste could have lasting consequences.

I like the sound the Year of the Rooster is offering. I'm a sag snake - both fire and I swear, I've been waiting for years for what's being offered. Now, I just gotta pull the cork out of my mouth, stop frowning, and run with what I've got because I know it's great - shizzzzz. lol.

This year, “Yin wood” sits on “Yin Metal” and it’s not so comfortable. Conflicts and arguments from 2004 carry over, searching for resolution. Rooster's critical discernment may be just what we need.

Both Rooster and Hen rustle in each new day with a flurry of activity. Rooster years are anything but idle!
