Anyway, every so often we get some weird and dark characters that show up and write odd posts. But that's part of life. You run into those kinds of people here and there. Nothing to worry about.

No offence. I just dont see any point in bringing them up to gossip about in astrology. I think it would be better to keep them in their own forum.

I believe Lindaland is a huge, somewhat mixbag family of lovable people who have their own little quirks and yet we love them, because of the common bond of humanity and our faith in Linda and her legacy.

I was merely sharing an emotion that kind of over whelmed me with this family of mine. Because this is what I thought loved ones did - whenever something makes you extremely happy or sad or scares you, you talk abt it to the people you care abt. But I guess I must be wrong. In the future I will try to read the rulebook and follow the guidelines on proper code of conduct in LL more strictly.

Please don't think 26Taurus was trying to be curt or rude. She wasn't, she was being honest. See, there are these threads that shake us up emotionally, which is why many of them were locked or we just stopped posting.

Some people post just to start fights, or to put down the intent of the forum.

Some people sign up with a username- only to cause trouble. And some people "flip out" and start spewing out useless diatribes that are only there to serve to break up the peace.

I think what 26taurus is also saying is that- by reading those posts, you had to see the debates, fights and accusations that ensued. There was a very tense battle here for awhile and none of us want to go back to it.

I know you didn't post those threads out of anything mean or spiteful. You are curious to know how people can be like that..I understand.

But think of it this way:

In school people start of with a set of friends. Everything seems okay, then people start to go into groups..or SOME people start to go into a clique, while others just go about their business. The clique wanting power- or specific individuals wanting power, will use gossip, accusations..etc... to subdue to hurt their rivals or just to shake things up.

On the other hand, you have a few weird kids, the kids that like to start fights and beat up on others...

while all this is happening, there are other kids that think this may be the opportunity to gang up on others, because maybe this will get them into the "cool clique".

In the end, a very Plutonian things happens, the old is washed away, people are exposed for who the are, and good always ends up sticking around....

It happens in every society, in every school, group..etc..so it stands to reason that once in a while it happens here.

I firmly believe that the people here are good, caring and honest. That is why we survive. There is a palpable love that surrounds this place and the people that come here.

Yes, we're a quirkly little family here. I'm the nice Taurus sister, but sometimes I'm also the old cranky Capricorn uncle. LOL My Cap rising can sound a little harsh sometimes. Sorry for that.

And Pid, how many times am I going to be surprised by your wisdom and insight. But I guess thats how you archers are - you always end up surprising me with the latest storm on Jupiter! Or I end up dumbfounded by the Sage side in you. And as a very wise and sometimes absent Archer told me recently, thats where the name of your sign comes from - the word Sage. Wonder where they got the horse in though

Ah! Valentines. A true festival for us bulls - great food, loads of chocolate and some much needed loooooovin ...

My archer says he does not believe in the commercialism of Valentine's Day but he was definitely not against getting another one of my gift baskets! LOL, So I spent the whole day yesterday filling all my love and passion into baking some chocolate chip pecan peanut butter cookies and assorting a load of other goodies. But, wait a minute - can you do that with 'just a friend' ... *runs to check the love-friendship rulebook * damn my Venusian Sun

Thanks for the compliments Pix and Maya. I am glad that those sad days are behind us and we are all moving one..old Knowflakes and new Knowflakes alike

Maya..our horse end reminds us of our basic needs / our primal selves. It is that horse end that sometimes gets us into big trouble. They say the Saggies have two phrases "I understand" and "The road to excess leads to wisdom"

It is the latter one that we learn wisdom through living life as a horses a$$...all the mistakes, blunt comments that brought tears to the eyes of our double cancer moms.. that taught us to be a bit more tactful..and use our Sage selves when dealing with issues.

Still...catch us in the mood and we'll gladly show you are proud hind quarters..by being the center of attention, with the lampshade on our heads

Maya,

Yeah, he is just trying to get through his this training. I haven't talked to him sense Wed night, but he had to prepare for another exam today and he is teaching a class this afternoon. After that, they have to work the weekend or most of it preparing signs / repairing vehicles and stuff for the field.

I sent him a Godiva chocolate lovers gift basket for V-day. He LOVES chocolate and should get it on Monday. I will be flying out there on Thursday until Monday the 21st- so we are both excited. It should help him (and me) get through the remaining month.
