I was looking at my friend Natasha's placements when I noticed something funny, her houses go in order! Ive never seen that before (Im new to astrology so forgive me if this is common)Does this mean anything? or is it just something funny. For reference House positions (Placidus) Ascendant Sagittarius 13°03'10 2nd House Capricorn 16°02'25 3rd House Aquarius 23°22'57 Imum Coeli Pisces 29°04'04 5th House Aries 28°27'25 6th House Taurus 22°12'42 Descendant Gemini 13°03'10 8th House Cancer 16°02'25 9th House Leo 23°22'57 Medium Coeli Virgo 29°04'04 11th House Libra 28°27'25 12th House Scorpio 22°12'42 Is anyone elses chart like this?

Charts consist of twelve segments, or houses...... Aries through Pisces.. always in the same order. Your Ascendant determines which sign is in which house, but they do always follow the same natural order. Does that help?IP: Logged |

ummm sort of? I understand the basic concept but I had never seen a chart where it follows the order without jumping around a bit ... I don't know if I said that right.Take my chart for example. House positions (Placidus) Ascendant Gemini 15°44'25 2nd House Cancer 08°10'09 3rd House Cancer 29°45'07 Imum Coeli Leo 24°25'00 5th House Virgo 26°00'04 6th House Scorpio 05°43'56 Descendant Sagittarius 15°44'25 8th House Capricorn 08°10'09 9th House Capricorn 29°45'07 Medium Coeli Aquarius 24°25'00 11th House Pisces 26°00'04 12th House Taurus 05°43'56 They are in order, but see how cancer appears twice, as does capricorn. And the 11th house is pisces and the 12th house is taurus, there is no aries in between. Hers makes a complete circle without ever repeating. I was just wondering if that was significant or just luck of the draw.

That's using the Placidus House system - were you born nearer one of the poles than near the equator? What time of year? This will provide a bit more explanation: http://www.elysian.co.uk/astrologyhousesystems.htm This some more: http://www.astrocom.com/articles/infospecials/IHSX.pdf In your chart, Aries and Libra are intercepted signs: http://www.astrocom.com/articles/infospecials/IIHX.pdf IP: Logged |

ahhhhhhhh..... see what you mean. It's all in the degrees.. so your repeating houses.. if you look at the degrees.. n interpretation, they would say "such and such is technically in the fifth house, but it is interpreted as house 6" 2nd House Cancer 08°10'09 3rd House Cancer 29°45'07 So your third house is still technically in Cancer but just barely... you'd still interpret any third house planets as Leo, unless they were within that fraction of a degree. But even though the cusp is Cancer, the House is still ruled by Leo. As any planets ion that house would be Leo, the main portion of that house being Leo. Depends on house systems though...... That is neat though, ain't it? Here's me.... those dratted Leo and Aquarius repeaters... House positions (Placidus) Ascendant Leo 07°35'26 2nd House Leo 27°30'52 3rd House Virgo 22°07'52 Imum Coeli Libra 23°32'50 5th House Sagittarius 00°44'00 6th House Capricorn 07°03'33 Descendant Aquarius 07°35'26 8th House Aquarius 27°30'52 9th House Pisces 22°07'52 Medium Coeli Aries 23°32'50 11th House Gemini 00°44'00 12th House Cancer 07°03'33
