speed in thought - maybe Mercury - Uranus contacts, I have the square and astro says that's a mentally alert aspect. Also Gemini Sun and or Mercury

speed in action - Aries placements, mars on the ascendant, because Aries is the most likely to be impatient and try to do things as fast as possible

I'm not sure which kind of speed you talk about, but I desire it both with cars, and mentally...however, I have no Aries or Gemini, and no merc/uranus aspect. My Mercury stuff is Libra, 6th house, conjunct Saturn, quintile Neptune, square North Node, square Chiron, and square Midheaven. If I don't get mental stimulation I feel like I am going to explode!

Sounds like Mars/ Aries to me! I have Mars in Leo and, Aries is in my 5th house,..... my liscence plates used to read, LEAD FOOT!!!
.... I am probably, going to get those renewed!
I love to drive..... and, I do tend to push it. I just enjoy my vehicle, all around; getting ready to do an engine swap, actually..... more horsies, less weight = ....

VirgoTaurus, Virgo's also ruled by mercury and I've known my share of Virgo guys who are really into cars and speed, and road rage sometimes - no Virgo girls though.. but the mental quickness I'd say that's because of Mercury

Laglady, I never have pondered that... my daughter is the same but, she has Pluto conjunct her Asc.... interesting, I always thought I jinxed the poor girl, by giving her Grace, as a middle name Her first means ' pure ', hehehe.... I am, forever telling my girl, to slow down and, observe where she is in relation to the things around her! Amazingly, in all her bumps and bruises, the only one that sent her to the hospital was, when she fell out of bed and, she was sound asleep! /

i don't know if pluto conjunct ascendant wold cause accidents.. though your baby probably has pluto in saggitarius?

I'm still fairly green in astrology but, yes, you are correct, my Daughter has Pluto conjunct Asc. in Sagittarius. This being square a 9th house Virgo Mars.... I would guess that would have something to do with her ' grace '...

Oh Dang, I thought this was a thread for NASCAR astrology ... I just love that stuff! Talk about the NEED for SPEED!

any-who .... im gonna say Aries as far as speed in movement/action .. they can never sit still and I know my b/f will be a mile ahead of me, when he was JUST beside me. drives me crazy ... He gets very impatient and tries to rush things, luckily most work out in his favor.

As far as thought/talk goes .. im gonna say gemini. gemini is full of ideas and can explain the simplest little things in very great detail. Quick to speak up.

but as far as speed itself goes ... as in NASCAR driving and racing .. aries and gemini fit that one IMO.

My Virgo has need for speed - drives a flash car, Suburu and likes to drive it FAST - he has Sag rising. I do things quickly - move, work etc etc and I have Aries rising - ineresting hey?
