Topic: Gemini guy and Virgo girl= not-so-love?

hey everybody! i'm new here, and although i'm not really well-read on the topic of astrology, i do have a sense as to which signs are most compatible with which. And i have a burning question; i'm kind of infatuated with a guy in my school who is a gemini, and i'm a virgo, and i'm surprised that i'm feeling such an attraction to someone like him, since we seem like such opposites. I was wondering if anybody'd be able to give me some advice as to whether or not there are special ways to talk to a gemini or connect with them easier, or anything like that? i'm pretty sure this guy knows i like him-- i'm not too good at hiding my feelings, but while he often shows some very obvious feelings of mutual attraction, there are times where i feel as though he's ignoring me, or is a little spacey. i'd like to know if there are any ways that i can try to impress him. He's a very smart person; good student and all that stuff, and seems pretty darn down-to-earth. but we still have awkward silences where we can't think of any topic of common interest to talk about. it's awkward. but i like him anyhow. if someone could help me out here, i'd really really really appreciate it! thank you very much for your time!IP: Logged |

AGGGHHHHHH! God, I have no idea how many times I've banged on about this now.GEM GUY AND VIRGO GIRL GO BRILLIANTLY TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!! Enough said. I think. Should be a very sparky, passionate and intelligent relationship.  Good luck to you, my fellow indian summer born, and love to all Geminis. Because they are truly wonderful. Edit- Oh, and as for the silences... a light joke should work.. maybe there are only silences because you're thinking about how you fancy him, talk to him like you would a girl... Anything can be a topic of interest to Gems as long as you don't talk about it too long. Im a Gem myself and can talk endlessly to other gems (couple of them are my guy friends), about anything from politics and fashion to sex and food--it can be lighthearted or serious, as long as its not being one-sided or obnoxious ("Im right and your not"), or boring (talking about it too long). Ask him questions about himself. Gems love talking about themselves (aagh! thats bad). Because we can never figure ourselves out, like everyone else can't, lol, we're fascinated by trying to explain ourselves to others. Doesn't everyone like it when someones interested in knowing about them? I was married to a Virgo man and although there would be silences sometimes, he would worry more about filling them in, whereas I would just be off in my daydreaming phase. So Gems can also be kind of aloof, not because they're not interested in you, but because there are just too many darn things in our mind. We're too busy thinkin about the sale at the mall, grades at school, our best friends problems, what to wear tomorrow, and how to eliminate starvation in Ethiopia. Silences can be good as well--with two communicator signs (Gem and Virgo), too much talking can make both signs weary of talking. You have to be the like 6th or 7th person in the last few monthes who's asked about the Gemini guy/Virgo gal combo...hehe, me included  It's such a magnetic attraction, my advice, try writing him a note, or find our what his fav music group or major hobby. My Gemmy BFF (and current object of affection) is such a racing fan and lover of R&B/Hip Hop music. I try to send him relevant music clippings, and fun upbeat notes... Oh, and remember these key words of advice:
If he asks you if you like him, be honest! It's much better to be upfront with Geminis, and avoids the whole unnecessary awkwardness that you will feel if you lie to him (I have experience with that...long story) Other than that, try to be his friend, let him see how social and cool you are to be around, make him realize how much he misses it when you are apart... Hi, This is a message I posted on Feb 8. Its so amazing to see these two signs and the way they relate to each other.
(I am a virgo woman with a very intense attraction to a gemini man. It has been
three years since the first day I met him. When he looks into my eyes it feels like he is looking deep into my soul. We have a very hard time communicating. Some days I think he feels the same attraction, somedays he stays away. I feel like he is afraid to be around me. I feel the same way. I wish I understood why. I truly feel he is my twin. I have never felt this kind of connection to anyone else in my life. I really enjoy seeing people on this board with the same sign attraction. I would love some input on how I can approach him without scaring him, and maybe there is a gemini man on this board that can tell me how they relate to virgo women. My venus is in scorpio so I think I seem a little intense to him. Thanks in advance for any input you can give. )

 Hmmm ... I'm leaning towards the "thinking too much" angle too. And if you are both a little nervous around each other it's even worse! Both ruled by Mercury, which have a lot of nervous energy to begin with. I'm thinking, involve yourselves in an activity which is more right-brained. Dumb it down and go with the feeling. It will either totally shut you up, or open new doors. ------------------
