Hey Everyone! I am SO EXCITED I can't stand it!!!!OK-Lately I have been exploring asteroids....Juno, Eros, Sappho, Amor etc...and am learning so much! Kim Falconer has a cool website and is very learned on the subject. Also, I discovered that most people's names are available as an asteroid! Go to astro.com..."natal and transits" and click into the 'extended chart' section....scroll down to the bottom left side under asteroids and look up your name on the list provided (over 11,000). Type in your asteroid name-number and your partner's name-number. Now, what I did was change the date of the synastry chart to that of the date when we first met. Amazing!! On that day, my transiting name-star was in EXACT conjunction to his name-star in his natal chart-within .10 degrees! Woah! AND my transiting name-star in my chart was nearly conjunct with his name-star in my natal (within 10 deprees-same house) on that day. Close enough! Could you follow that? WOW!!!! I think that is cooooool!  The power of certain asteroids is amazing-especially in transit. Also, check where your transiting Eros was (in your chart)when you met....where was the contact with your partner's chart on that day? How about your transiting Lust asteroid? Both of ours were in significant conjunctions to our natal chart on that day. (Amongst other amazing contacts that day...) TOO COOL. Tell me what you find!!

I am re-reading this and wish I could edit a tad more...what we are checking is YOUR natal chart and the transiting asteroids on a certain date. The same for your partner's. Forget the synastry chart thing because that isn't what we want at the moment. Okay? My best apologies for the confusion-I am just too excited! LOL!  IP: Logged |

This is so funny! I thought, "yeah, I'll try it...," but I didn't expect much. Here's what I found: First of all... no asteroid for my first or middle name.  BUT! My bf name is conjunct my sun and asc, AND... my seventh house is Cancer, and he has nothing in Cancer, BUT! Transiting asteroid (bf's name) was in Cancer the night we hooked up! Also found that a lot of planets were hanging out in Cancer that night. Coincidence? Okay, yeah, probably... but lots of fun to ponder, anyway! xoxo IP: Logged |

Looking up our namesake asteroids, I could only find one for myself as unfortunately there isn't one with the exact name of Mr. Aries. Pooh. So I had to settle for one that had the same pronounciation, but a different spelling.
When we met, my namesake asteroid was trining his Venus and conjuncting his Jupiter. And his pseudo-namesake asteroid was trining my Mars exactly, trining my Neptune, and conjunct my Chiron. And interestingly, both of our asteroids were in the same signs of our natal Venus. Hmmmm... IP: Logged |

OMG, WOW... I did a quick check for my guy's name-star and mine (I didn't get an exact match on mine, but very, very close), and checked it on the day we met, and WOW...My name-star in my natal chart was in conjunction (within 2 degrees) with his name-star in his natal chart, in the same house, & in my zodiac sign! Also, his name-star in my chart was conjunct (within 10 degrees) with my name-star in his natal chart on that day. This IS the coolest, GemStar & aries-chick!!  Also, his Eros and my Psyche are in trine, while my Eros and his Psyche sextile! Our Lust asteroids also trine each other, and all of these aspects are within 1-2 degrees, no further! I wonder what significance all of this has! Ok, WHATEVER it means, it's made my day!
