OMG - I so feel like this myself ... although I've never really had any one go into detail on my chart , just the little things I read here and there. I actually wondered if I wasnt born at a different time that what was one my birth cert.... strange feelin it is to now know my self. ang- ------------------ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Cap Sun/ASC, Cancer Moon IP: Logged |

but a chart doesn't PRESCRIBE what one SHOULD be..this 'should' word is such a nasty one... many wars and murders on behaf of what things "should" be like... says WHO?

I know what you mean... I just meant like should as in what your horoscope would describe you as. change that to "people who are nothing like their natal chart reading" IP: Logged |

my darling moonshine...you probably meant to say 'nothing like some PART of their chart reading...." cos if we take into account EVERY planet-in-sign-in-house-in-aspect-to-planet-in-sign-in-house-in-aspect-to-planet- etc... and planet -in-sign-in-house-in-aspect-to-planet-ruling planet&house... that;s a LOAD of a chart 'reading'... but YES, I agree with you: nobody is a "capricorn' or a "leo"... even if some magazine says so... my point:it's NOT that some people are somehow falling between the cracks, it's that YOUR EXPECTATIONS are TOO LIMMITED b/c you know too little astrology and even less about human nature. what exactly do u base your expectations on, dear? Sun sign? if I told you I'm 5'7 with brown hair and hazel eyes, would you know ME? or would you be... surprised!?! IP: Logged |

who are you talking to christiname? If its me, I didnt say sun sign, I said NATAL HOROSCOPE. I know its a many-layered, complex thing and that there are many house/signs/planets influencing different factors in a person's life, but I was asking if anyone knows or has met someone who does NOT come across like how you might expect if you had read their horoscope chart. It is safe to say most people on this board are pretty well convinced of the validity of astrology, but I wanted to ask has member here ever come across anyone who completely stumps them. Thats all. I dont think its very likely, but I was curious. Please dont make assumptions about other people's knowledge of astrology - some people here know a great deal. Everyone here knows I'm still a learner, but there's no need to make snotty comments. Thanks maya-v, I hadnt read those threads Im going to go look at them now. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry... i'm trying to help as best as I can but sometimes I don't have the pacience to be good at it.the thing is... it should be so complex to interpret a chart that nobody should attempt to do so outside the specific circumstances of the person behind it. one shouldn't "guess" what that chart says if they did't actually have that person there to confirm it. the ultimate truth is the human being who's actually living the chart and not the chart itself. so it's senseless to ask if the person is according to the chart. the fair question should be: am I reading it right? do I see THIS individual in this chart? the person is always right (cos u r who u r, you're not faking it or 'playing' a role, you're genuine, the real thing!) and not the reading - which is only as good or as accurate as the astrologer behind, his/her knowledge, understanding, own limmits and psychological make-up, etc. the reading is only an INTERPRETATION of the symbols and not the symbols themselves. it's what I think/guess/feel they mean. so in the end, if my reading doesn't meet ends with reality, it is me who is wrong. is this any better? i can be a real b.... sometimes, but I do mean well.... I have known some pretty stupid people whose chart's said intellect! And very unfeeling Pisces men, and I met a biker poet last night who was a big pussycat underneath. It's hard to deal with multifaceted ever changing mutable people, Natasha Taurus IP: Logged |
