I know my old friend Hooked is - how are you darling? - but I'm just intrigued to see how many we have in here if any.

I have the Big 3 in water and I wonder what effect this has in itself.

Would imagine other elements would have their own valid input.

I have the notion we are unique in certain ways, if only something simple like perhaps being truer to the element.

I would say "Pureblood" but for the fear of sounding like a baddie from Harry Potter.

Nope, I am a mixed dish.
A multiberry pie.
But I do have a lot of Scorpio bits....

I think our dear *lovely is a triple Virgin.
Not that she is... (*hot hot hot*)

You're talking about big 3 as in Sun/Moon/Asc, right? Mine are all in earth, and my Venus is in that element tooooo.

Somehow, this has led people to conclude that I am probably a boring stick in the mud.

Hi VTT,

How would you describe yourself? Is there a particular "essence" to you.

What 3 words describe you at the core, unaffected by moods or situation, just the you that would be there if the rest of the layers of your character and experiences were peeled away?

Triple Earth. What do you want to know?

Same question really Aen. I have to be a little vague as its more exploratory than with any particular answer in mind. What I am interested in finding out is if there is any significance in having the most personal of the personal planets all in the same element.

I think pixie said it best

Thoughtful, creative, resourceful seem to come to the front at those rare moments of inner peace I've had.

Doesn't sound very stick in the mud to me.

Do you feel being all Earth has any significance? Does it make you differentiate slightly from the experiences of those who are the same element but more diluted?

I am so different from Pisces with Air, Fire or Earth Moons, and even deeper and more intense that those with Water Moons as well.

Autonomous, creative & amused.

Hmm..

It's not really informative, but hi ... you asked.

I think the only thing having more earth does for me compared to those of earth that are more diluted is that I seem to be somewhat more responsibility-oriented, a little bit more determined, really dependable and very stubborn a lot of the time. Otherwise I think I have something else messing up those qualities at times, maybe some Air or Water. I'm actually not that stable of a person like earth would make me sound like.

Another triple earth here. In one word I'd say Heat.

That's how I feel about my triple earth at least. And that can be interpreted many ways. At the very depths of the earth there is fire, magma, a burning heat that only a certain kind of person can access. Us heavy earth people seem so calm and solid, we often go by unnoticed or get passed off as boring. We are not. We are scattered with volcanos waiting to erupt. Some nice, some not so nice. There's alot more going on under the hard surface than meets the eye. Earth is full of history and secrets buried in the layers. Unexplored caves full of diamonds, and a rich calm beauty. Okay now I'm starting to get cheesy, but I feel this is a good description. Another word would be Strength. We support and hold water and contain fire. We can be towers of strength or destroy everything in our paths. Think of earthquakes and volcanos.

The other elements can continually beat us down and do some damage but we still remain and just start all over again, regrow.

Three words? Depth, strength, wisdom/insight. And even though there are firey depths we still contain a strong inner and outer calmness and peace.

Does that resonate to any of you other triple earths I wonder?

It resonates with meeee!! Burning heat is a really really good description of the feeling of all the earth, and the scattered volcanos. And strength is really important, like with me it seems like no matter what happens, after I'm done sulking/being sad/angry/whatever, I will pick myself back up...again and again. I had an Air friend awhile back ask me how I did that, and told me if anyone made a movie out of my life, it would be so tragic and everyone in the cinema would be crying. haha!

Thanks 26taurus. Thats the sort of thing I was looking for. Its interesting to hear you so confidently and assuredly describe the essence of Earth within you.

I think Mercury and Venus are very important in this too, but then the odds are that you are looking at at least 2 elements and the game becomes something else.

For me, being Triple Water, it seems that the spiritual, psychic and intuitive elements are that much more perceptive and incisive. Plus of course, any dark side associated is also emphasised.

Wow beautiful description of earth qualities 26! That resonates with me when I think of my Virgo.

He is like all Virgo and Cancer, but he's not a triple header earth. He has virgo in his Sun, Mercury and Venus(and saturn) and Cancer as his Asc, moon and mars. So he is REALLY a VIRGO in all its glory! He has the Virgo eyes, strange gait, analytical nature, cleanliness, digestive problems, generosity, love of math and numbers, calm strength, etc Need I say more..

So I don't think it has to be the Big 3 to really be pure...it can be in the Big 5

Yep, it does.

Actually it reminded me how my best friend described how she sees me. She is a Leo Sun/Gem Moon and words are her weapon.

She used 'cat watching erupting volcano' comaprison. 'Comfortably walking in the dark depths were no one else goes, because they are afraid of volcanoes and pits.'.

Cap/Virgo Moon & Asc (conj Pluto)
Merc in Cap
Saturn in Taurus

Interesting! VTT, yep, I've had so many people in my life say that I am strong and they wouldve caved if in the same situation. Funny about the movie thing, I've thought the same thing.

Hey Swerve! Yes, actually I'm a quadruple earth counting Mercury. Sun and Merc in Taurus, Moon in Virgo and Asc in Capricorn.
Wow, triple water! I bet you are a psychic sponge. Yes, there is a dark side to it all too. I've seen alot of heavily influenced water signs playing with their darker sides more than the other elements. Mostly heavy Scorpios which I tend to attract like magnets. But when that element can control those urges and tap into their more positive side they can really reach great heights. From what I've observed the water signs really stuggle with that. Or maybe it's just what I've noticed because I'm coming from a completely different perspective. I've got a good handle on my emotions. But I am not scared away by really emotional people. They usually come to me for support. Like I said, I know alot of people with strong Scorp influences and whoa, can they be emotional basketcases. I love them though.

Hey LeoSH!, Wow! That's a whole lotta Virgo going on! It's interesting that you could see that description in relation to him. You must be one of the lucky ones to be able to get under that hard earth surface.

I loved that description Aen. 'cat watching erupting volcano' comaprison. 'Comfortably walking in the dark depths were no one else goes, because they are afraid of volcanoes and pits.'.
Very true. We are not the scaredy cats of the zodiac.

Us strong earths have a different kind of heat than fire. We dont burn out quick. We endure it all. I actually like and am really comfortable with all of my earthiness. I wouldnt change my element for the world. You mentioned something about being "truer to your element", Swerve. I feel that. I think it might make one more intouch with themselves. Their ego self, emotional self and their mask all seem to be operating along the same lines. What you see is what you get. And what they say is what they mean. Interesting stuff to think about.

26Taurus, hehe I sometimes catch glimpses of his buried treasures, and then I can't get enough..I want to keep digging. I guess part of me does like the fun of discovering "the caves full of diamonds" (love that description btw). But as you could see from my Virgo poem, my Leo heart sometimes really Can't get enough. But thats another story

I loved the description "rich, calm beauty"! Thats perfect!! Thats my baby!

Also when we're encouraging each other, he is sooo the support for my flames to reach the sky...but he does have the power to squelsh the blaze and kill my easily exhausted spirit, while he can endure with amazing calm strength the harshest of storms (with his flexible Leo girl wink wink). You really did a great job capturing the beauty of you Earthy creatures. I guess I am a lucky one to know that side of you all, maybe its the Taurus moon

Hi,

Pisces Sun & Moon Cancer Asc.

My word would be 'DEEP'

Cool and calm on the outside, a nature that tends to relax and soothe others. Can always sense the energies in the atmosphere. Mysterious and aloof to the uninitiated.

Yes! I forgot you were a Taurus moon LeoSweetHeart. That also explains why you can totally relate to my earth description. The moon is very well placed in Taurus, it's exalted there as you probably know.

It's nice to hear you talk about your Virgo. Your deep love for him comes brilliantly out of your posts. He's a lucky guy.

Thank you for your compliments to me btw.

Hello Absynthe,

I have the feeling you are like a beautiful and ancient waterfall that falls into a silent blue lagoon with hidden depths.

Whereas I feel like a raging river that isn't quite so inviting, and certainly never peaceful.

I think points of reference to nature are so apt here.

My ex is a triple Air Libra Sun/Gemini Moon/Gemini rising, with Virgo Venus, most planets in the sixth house.

He is all air, thoughts and reason, always one to call when your power is out, he will know why if no one else does. He's sort of like a more needy Gemini.
