Okay who has Pluto in their 8th house?
Mine is progressed right now in the 8th in Virgo, and it's trine my Venus in Taurus, really doing a number on my relationships. Lots of explosions, and a need to commit.

What and who are you attracted to, (gay, straight, women, men, fire signs?) and are you looking for commitments in your relationships or more romance?

Thanks,
Natasha

I have Pluto in Libra in my 8th house natally. I tend to be attracted to Scorpio males more than any others even though I find them frustrating when the tables turn from friendship/acquaintanceship to relationship. Aquarians are my second easy-to-fall-for guys. Go figure ... my hubby is an Aquarius with Scorpio Rising which is easier for me to relate to than a Scorpio Sun (Sag, Moon in Aries, Aquarius Rising myself). I enjoy romance, but really only in a committed relationship. All about commitment here. For example, I never really enjoyed the wining and dining if I didn't think there was a serious relationship to be had somewhere along the line. I suppose that's also influenced by my Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Capricorn, though.

Thou canst not then be false
to any man." - Shakespeare

I'm another with Pluto (and Moon) in the 8th natally. I attract Scorpios and have more Scorpio friends than any other sign but I am never interested in a romantic relationship with them. The ones I know are way too....Scorpion-like. Jealous, possesive, moody etc. We're fine as friends but I know I couldnt handle a romantic relationship with one.

I'm also big on commitment but I dont think commitment means there cant be romance. I like romance too and think you can easily have both. I think commitment IS romantic. I'd rather not waste my time playing games, cat and mouse, hide and seek.... If it's worth getting to know someone I will know pretty quickly.

Maybe alot of what is going on with you right now Natasha is Pluto breaking down old structures in your consciousness. You are dealing with these "explosions" because the old ways arent working anymore. Youre breaking down to build anew. Pluto will only allow you to deal with old, tired, dead patterns before it explodes and burns everything down. Forcing you to change and rise from the ashes. With a completely different perspective and mode of operation than you had before. It's coming through the "8th house" part of you and making a clean sweep. This is not always pretty or fun. It stirs up alot of "old stuff." And you must deal with it and transform it, you are being forced to clean out the closets and the cobwebs of your subconscious. To face your demons, obssesions and dysfunctions. It is a hard transit but with work is sure to be one of the most transforming. Structures that are no longer working are breaking down. Forcing change, forcing you to change and toss out the garbage.

Thanks, that answers my question then, I couldn't understand this sudden need to commit and get commitments from others, it's a long transit!

I suppose I spend too much time figuring out what I want to commit to, instead of asking what if someone is committing to me in the way I want, and this transit has changed all that. Now I am much more interested in self first, in terms of commitment in relationships. If someone lets me down I am much less hurt and more angry.

As a Taurus it's different!

Thanks,
