Money-wise, going to an astrologer isn't really much of a problem, I figure I would go as a present to myself as I rarely spend money on things for fun ($150 is for a full chart delineation and consultation; I cannot decide if I want to add the $75 for transits/progressions). However I just feel unprepared and kind of iffy about it. I know I will run screaming if I hear hands down that I love kids and will have this great wonderful sex life because I've seen hints of it myself in my chart that there's problems there...anyway, I should probably call the astrologer with some questions. I can think of a few of my own, but is there anything I should ask her before deciding yes, I want a chart interpretation? I had a class with her awhile back and she seemed like she knew her stuff and she's nice...I just wonder if there's anything I should ask beforehand. Haha I think my Virgo Sun is overanalyzing this! *grabs sun and shakes it* IP: Logged |

I'd ask for some references that you can call. She shouldn't mind supplying them to you and they can give you their perspective on how good she is.Lanny IP: Logged |

That's a good idea. Personally I would go for the transits and progressions too. I've had a few readings by professionals and when I only did the natal I was a bit dissapointed because I already knew most of what they said anyway. I think you have a good understanding of your natal chart as well. Though I'm sure you wont be dissapointed with what the professional astrologer will see. An outsiders perspective is always nice. The transits and progression part is more exciting to me because that's where you start to see where you chart is at presently and will be in the near future and you find more options and avenues of directions to take in your life now.I havent had to ask the astrologer questions about themselves and their approch or practice because I've gone to ones that were highly recommended by others that I trusted. If you do decide to do it, have a list of questions ready for afterwards. They will usually give you a chance at the end to ask specific questions. Sometimes they ask before hand, what areas you would like them to focus on specifically. IP: Logged | |
