Hi,

I guess I am too emotional and having trouble interpreting what's going on with my hubby right now. Something is definitely not right with him.

His birthday is 12-31-71 at 9:22 a.m. (EST Detroit MI USA). The grand square he has makes it hard for me to interpret things as well...guess I am just having a moment, but would appreciate the help with this.

Thanks for the help...my brain really hurts.

Off to try to figure it out again...

Thanks again,
Moonfairy

Moonfairy, it's best if post the data here, along with the degree his sun is in, since he' s a Capricorn and Saturn is in Cancer now, it may be transiting his sun depending on the degree.
Example, my Moon is in the early degrees of Cancer, so Saturn has already transited my Moon, during that time I "lost" my mother.

So, if he has Venus in Capricorn, and Saturn is transiting, then he is having trouble with women, and desire, eating, drinking, sleeping.

Look at his progressed chart, at astro.com and find out where his moon is,
That helps, sounds like Saturn for some reason? giving him trouble,

Hi,

It's funny you mentioned astro.com...I love that site

Yep, Saturn and that Jupiter transit I think...

Why don't you tell us what you know first, so we know what to look for...

Maybe he'e just depressed...I've never seen a capricorn who doesnt' go through long spells of depression and negativity, I think its pretty normal for them. They won't usually share with you whats wrong either, especially the men. Most of the time they just need to defrost.

Oh, sorry, I forgot a few details...O.k. I am grounded now LOL...

I think he's going through this dark night of the soul, as well as a depression, and a questioning about where he belongs in this lifetime, besides who he is. At the same time, I think he's coming to terms with the ideas of spirituality and what it means to him personally. I do feel shut out but I am trying to not take it personally....Also, his parents back in November disowned him due to a bad argument...Stress, stress, stress...

Thanks for letting me share...

Well, those things could be due to many things, including a Saturn Return. You said it has to do with "who he is" - I'm thinking, which Planet would relate to that?

Although Aries is very concerned about who they are, I would NOT say it is Mars, as I see that more as having to do with "ACTION". Maybe the Sun and/or Pluto? The 5th House and/or the 8th House? Any Planets in Leo or Scorpio? I'd take all that and see what Transits are going on. Have you been able to enter that info in astro.com to see what it looks like?

I'd also look at the 1st House or Planets in Aries, but I wouldn't look too hard at anything "Mars".

Moonfairy, it looks like he has Chiron transiting his ascendant/first house right now, trine natal Saturn and Pluto as well. Transiting Pluto will be moving back over his Jupiter in Sagittarius, and Uranus is trine his moon at the moment. I'm just a novice at all of this, but I found you a few links.

Chiron transiting the ascendant:

http://innerchangemag.com/AstroAdvice0804.htm
"Over the past year Chiron, the wounded healer, has been interacting with Saturn in your chart. Saturn represents the part of ourselves that is able to be disciplined, that is able to focus the achievement of our goals. When Chiron and Saturn work together we typically see a lot of healing (Chiron) work (Saturn) take place. We are better able to develop a practice that brings consistency and intention into our natural desire to evolve. At the same time, Chiron has been transiting your ascendant/descendant axis. The ascendant (rising sign) represents the energy that we project out into the world, and the descendant represents the energy we draw in from others. This axis therefore represents the balance of energy between our individual personality and who we are in relationship to others. During this period, which will last until the end of the year, you are healing these old wounds of relationship and developing a new and healthier way of experiencing your own personal identity."

"Dear Eric
I've done astrology for almost 40 years and having a "heads up" on the planetary ebb and flow has always helped me to ride out the most difficult and transformative of transits. Now I'm poised on a Chiron conjunct Ascendant, but have very little information on this centaur. In tracking previous conjuncts, I've usually found myself "embroiled" in a situation -- something difficult to pull my foot out of, with me running old emotional tapes looking for answers. What can I expect with a first house hit?
Jude

Dear Jude
I would say that Chiron in the Ascendant is about awakening. Chiron rising (or Ascendant transit) themes often deal with the "right to exist" and the feeling that we belong on the planet. In Capricorn, it's reasonable to look at the power structures that have boxed you in (see last week's discussion of the Capricorn aspect of Saturn). I would imagine that Chiron in a Capricorn ascendant is going to want to break free of all the residual parental impressions that have somehow dictated who you are. And while it's always possible to say "I've already done that," the question remains -- what is Chiron doing there now?

I've worked with another Chiron question in this edition, and I suggest you borrow the technique above, carefully working out the story of each individual transit and then, after you've done that, seeing if you can assemble a theme or see a process in motion. I feel strongly that Chiron needs to be given its own voice more than astrologers need to be speaking for it, and that voice comes through experience. Create a Chiron timeline for yourself. I would suggest that a super important transit that will shed light on the present moment is when Chiron contacted your 7th house cusp in Cancer around 1990. The current era of your life is the Chiron opposition to that one -- a kind of 180 degree turn around.

What was happening then?

The beauty of having been through so many Chiron transits is that after a while you begin to have a choice in how you respond to the energy. With any luck when we look at the circumstances and events of the Chiron biography, we get a sense that the thing main that's changing is awareness. Hopefully it's increasing! Hopefully you are having experiences that are teaching you to take consciousness and use it consciously to make choices. In this case, it is the choice of how you define yourself, and how you experience yourself. "

Transiting Saturn conjunct Descendant/seventh house:

http://tinyurl.com/4bxrt
"Transiting Saturn conjunct the 7th house or descendant (entering the 7th house)
begins a new cycle of tuning into relationship strengths and weaknesses. It is a time to
balance power with others. I have found this to be an important cycle for those dealing
with relationship addictions, and it is a great reality testing season for relating in general.
A person with a pattern of depending too much on others for support may be cultivating
self-reliance, whereas an independent , power-driven type might learn to encourage the
growth of key peers. A tendency to dominate others due to emotional fears could be
recognized. Someone could even conquer a reluctance to commit. The “shadow” of this
cycle may include running away from relationships that promise true closeness and
fulfillment. Projecting too much responsibility onto others and trying to make others
change to suit our own needs can become compulsive. Learning to trust can be a way to
happiness. Building honest and stable partnerships points the way to great happiness. By
the way, contrary to popular belief, this is a great cycle to start and expand a business!"

I put his birth data into my astro.com account, and saw that he has these transits listed:
"Extrasensory perception" (Neptune Sextile Mercury)
"Learning to trust" (Chiron Trine Pluto)
"A dominant personality" (Mars in the 1st House)

I wonder if Neptune sextile Mercury is making him feel more sensitive as well; one of the things that Neptune deals with spirituality.

Hi kind Moderator,

Thanks so much...I am realizing now why one of my spiritual teachers says to not 'read' family LOL...

I am thinking Saturn return as well. I will check the transits more. I tend to work intuitively with this stuff as well. I was guided to look at our combined chart. Saturn is in both our lives very heavily...It has been retrograde in our relationship house the past 2 years. This along with our Saturn returns, etc. has been trying...

I guess though there are blessings with Saturn, however. I have learned many lessons personally and in regards to my marriage as has my husband. I am learning that Saturn lessons don't always have to be so 'harsh' as well...another lesson I learned.

Thanks again so much...

Love and light,
Lisa

Cancer moons are going through so much, A cancer moon, Aqua Sun, Libra ascendant I know just lost his mother, and his long term g/f. he is pretty depressed. It's normal to go through depression when you lose your mother, especially for a Cancer Moon.

Everytime I have lost my mother to something or someone, my life feels a little harder. I lost her once and for all last year, and I relied on several Cancer Moons to get me through.

They all seemed to be going through transitions with women.
