For those of you with this placement, do you simply have almost no fear of death at all, except maybe a death that is extremely painful and prolonged? And does it fascinate you, where you can even make jokes about death, or near-death experiences don't jolt you to realize you nearly died, instead your curiosity is aroused? Or in the face of tragedy, you're one of the few not panicking?

One of my ex b/f's had this placement and on top of that Neptune was his ruler. he wasn't afraid of anything even though I warned him about me from the start-if a woman warns you and you don't care then yes I would say he wasn't afraid of anything. I even told him I would kill him once joking and he become more obsessed than ever. He ended up going with someone else and I think he expected me to fight for him.

When I was nice he was bored,he hated happy happy joy (and he is a gemini). He once told me he was more attracted to anyone if that person was dark and brooding. I can't understand it, but then I think I am attracted to Scorpionic types due to some fatherhood issue. I am working on it.

Yes I think this placement says I need to fight somehow, maybe dreams are intense?
His ex g/f created artwork featuring a lot of blood, and gore,

Something there allright,

Natasha

Absolutely VTT - I always wondered what it would be like to have a near death experience, and guess what I did! Not to go into detail, but when our son was born, I was nearly a gonna and when I came out of it I realised it was something I had invited in - mad or what. Ive no fear of death, a part of me looks forward to it, going "home" and I have contemplated death many times - a natural curiosity for me. When I attend funerals, a part of me always feels "right" being there. I was told I would have a peaceful death at the age of 83 - no suffering, just slipping easily away - sounds lovely doesn't it? xx

I know someone that has that placement and indeed isn't afraid of death and takes many risks. I on the other hand have Pl conj Ur in 8th (Virgo) and am VERY afraid of death.

A Neptune Sextile Pluto in a Natal might do that too ... maybe even Conjunctions or Trines. Anyone have any of those Aspects who can comment?

Whoa! These are all very interesting replies! Natasha I kind of relate, I'm the one with the Neptune in 8th and I tend to like dark, brooding people (best friend evaarrr is a Scorpio with Virgo Rising, definitely dark and brooding!).

I have intense dreams!

sue g I totally relate to that, sometimes death is even a comforting thought to me. You mentioning funerals reminds me of how I find cemetaries peaceful and if they are on a hill overlooking something, like a town, I'm sure to be there laying in the grass! YES! I was told I would die in old age, probably quickly and painlessly, due to natural causes. My response was, "YAY!" I got a very confused look.

Holy crap AJ, I have Neptune sextile Pluto natally! I really don't have much understanding of it yet though, unfortunately.

While I do not have Neptune in 8th, I do have Nep sextile Pluto. I have no fear of death whatsoever. And I am the calmest in the midst of pure chaos! (Even without Prozac or a huge bottle of vodka! Ha,ha!!)
