This is just a curiosity of mine, because I know (oh boy do I know) that everyone learns differently too...but for those of you who have been studying astrology for quite a long time, when did you reach the moment where you felt like you really had down all the basics and could glance at a chart and just feel comfortable with the whole thing? Like how far into your studies did you just go "A-ha! I have it all basically, generally figured out?"IP: Logged |

AT the start, to be honest. I appraoched astrology very sceptically, but then realized, after reading through the basic elements of astrology in a couple of books, you know, the signs, the houses, the planets, the elements, the modalities, so on - that it just clicked with me. I get systems, symbols, cause and effect realtionships very well. I'm just highly sceptical by nature - a very left brain sort of person, despite all my intuition. As a theoretical system, I felt I could understand it, even though I was still weary as to how much I wanted to buy into it as a practical system that genuinely related to reality. So strangely enough I felt confident in my understanding of astrology long before I was actually confident in astrology itself. But that's me - I'm a freak. IP: Logged |

Philbird -I have used almost every single manner of casting a Chart that one can have at their disposal. To me, I cannot imagine being able to gather my OWN thoughts and beliefs on astrology unless I test everything that's out there. For me personally, each one has revealed something unique.
