If you were a Mercurial-influenced person, such as a Gemini or Virgo Sun OR Moon, how would you go about arriving at the deep intuitive and transcental mindset such as Scorpio's?

If you were a Water Sign, such as Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, how would you go about arriving at the objective mindset such as the Gemini or Virgo influenced?

Scorpio's transcendental? Er, OK...LOL. I always seen Scorpio, despite it's inclination towards spiritual matters, as too fixed and self-focused to be naturally transcendental but I suppose it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Of course I have Gem Sun and pisces moon so I'm both natively. And it's a problem. I have had to learn to divide the objectivity and intuition, which for much of my younger life was a highly conflicted intermingled state. Basically, my objective self has free reign over my exterior existence and my intuition my interior. But occasional unforeseen glitches, spontaneuos role-reversals and disorienting collisions still occur.

I am a Gemini Sun/Asc with Cancer Moon. I have more water in my chart than air. No earth influences and moderate fire (Mars, Saturn).

I find it difficult because I feel I can be ashamed of my feelings at times because they are not "rational" or, I feel cold sometimes because I don't allow myself to indulge in sympathies at times. It can be a battle. But it is also helpful at times because I can choose different ways to approach situations. I can feel extremely deeply and passionately, but I have the ability (most of the time) to "turn it off" when it hurts too bad.

My Virgo husband said to me (very Scorpion, very neptunian) last night that he envies my ability to feel so deeply about everything. I am driven by passion and intuition and he is the opposite, makes for a very challenging union, our ambition is to meet in the middle one day, but dont hold your breath guys! love to dreams to all xx

I already have a pretty deeply intuitive mindset. In fact I outdo my Scorpio friend on this, she cannot even begin to figure out where I come up with some of the things I do and my answer always is "I just know".

virgo sun/pisces moon/cancer asc. I have a lot of earth and water in my chart so I'm a bit of both too. I tend to find it hard to trust my intuition and have a bad habit of ignoring it and cross-examining it constantly (sooo virgo :rolleyes , often to my detriment.

I would love to learn how to develop my intuition so that it is stronger... any tips anyone??

That's really interesting. For the most part, I find that those "conflicted" with the intuitive vs. logical sides of themselves usually have a more difficult time of dealing with the EMOTIONS, as if they want the emotions to just go away because they are a nuisance. Rarely do I hear someone saying, gee, I wish I was more emotional, as really logical people are uncomfortable with really emotional people.

It's funny because the emotional people wonder why they are not "getting through" to the logical people. They get their feelings hurt more (or so it seems), and therefore, the knee-jerk reaction is to see emotions as being a threat.

I'd like to explore this more.

The reason I brought it up was because the logical people seem to be motivated more by "routines", whereas emotional people are more motivated by "ritual" ...

Does anyone see where I'm going with this?

Pixie - would love to hear your thoughts on this ...

being a virgo with cancer asc., i believe i'm equally divided. to a fault, i analyze my emotions and ask "why" too much. i read into everything and i'm highly aware of subtle-psychic communication. and my jupiter in pisces 9th house doesn't know when to stop.

pushing down my mind is an ongoing process for me.

my husband on the other hand of course is an extremely logical verbal (lawyer) individual and I am forever training myself to deal with him on this level. ~my karma i suppose.

edited to add: hubby chart is heavy leo/fixed with no water. i on the other hand have no fixed planets.
