Ok, I've got two questions here, so I'll just put them both on one post. First I wanted to ask about my virgo sun & aqua asc.
I've got this thing that's really rediculus, i noticed it really clearly for the first time today, although i've always been vaguely aware of it. I was looking at an Easter card my cousin gave her mom for easter, & it said something like, "Happy Easter Mommy, I'm going to give you a hug for every peice of candy in my basket" it wasn't exactly like that but close. The first thing I said about it was something i noticed right off hand, that no one would buy that card, but teenagers, because little children would not hug their mommys in thanks for their candy, because they believed that the easter bunny brought it. every body said, "well yeah that's true, but I never would have thought of it." I'm always making analyzations based on logic out of the blue, but I live out in Laa Laa land, you know, everyone complains because I tend to tune out what I don't want to hear, but I really can't help it, I'm just in a daze all of the time, that whole absent minded professor thing. So is that the virgo, aqua mix, or what?? I don't have any other planets in virgo accept my sun, so is it just aquarius?ok second question, there is this gemini guy I know, he's 17, I just made a post about him recently. the thing is that my mom & grandmom insist that he has a and crush on me. I do admitt that he does some of those things that guys do to show off around me(although not to any crazy extent), but I really just think he's being friendly, you know all that stuff about geminis needing social contact all of the time & stuff. what do you all think about it? Are geminis just naturally a little flirtatious? If not, what should I do? P.S. sorry for the weird misspells and capitolization, I took like a minute to do this. IP: Logged |

AHH! A fellow Virgo in sun/ Aquarian Asc. aye!? I have the same problem my dear, most of the time im off on a tangent or two not really taking any notice of my surroundings which doesnt make other ppl happy. But at other times when i really do care, i make an effort and people around me give me a hard time about it by saying things like " if only you could be this focused all the time-youd get so much done" but thats just not me. Ima mix of down to earth smarty pants and ff the planet lunatic. So i share your pain! And about the Gemini thing, most of them are massive flirts but its better not to play hard to get with these fellas because they like girls to nuture their egos and give in almost immediately to their advances. If i were you id steer clear of him unless he has a more compadible ascdent sign. catch ya IP: Logged |

I too feel your pain, i am also virgo sun and aquarius asc.I am exactly the same way. If something doesn't interest me or directly affect me i am tuned out or off in some other world. Or if peoples behavior is becoming too much too handle i do the same thing.I feel guilty sometimes because i can see myself doing this but i can't help it.It is definetly an aquarius thing i would say. We have to do it to survive. Our nervous systems are so delicate it doesn't take much to put it on overload.That's why we need to distance ourselves from emotions so much. Strong emotions freak me out big time.I will be out the door in a heart beat!! IP: Logged |

Thnx guys, I'm glad to know I'm not completely loony  . Suzyque, I know what you mean about that whole strong emotion thing freaking you out, me too. Anything really intense kinda scares me & makes me uncomfortable, but I'm not a really emotional person anyway I have very few water influences in my chart.
Extremes scare me also, but that maybe my Libra vibe (was born on fri. 6th). The dielicate nervous system thing is sooo true too, I do very, very, little virgo worrying, because I just can't handle it, and on the occasion when I begin to, about ten minutes into it, I tell myself how stupid it is & stop.
UUhh, but I'm so sick of people telling me I need to focus, I just can't! The only things I can focus on are things that I think are interesting, or important, like my art, & music, & now I'm trying to learn to speak Japanese which is interesting & benificial so I'm pretty committed to that. That goes with everything, not just the things that I've deemed worthy to committ myself to.And about Mr. Gemini, I've got no clue what his ascendant is, but that's ok, I never really intended to go out with him anyway. He's just my goofy, fun, friend. I just thought it would be interesting to find out if he really liked me, or if he had something that just made him like that(well, I guess it's just me seeing what makes him tick, lol.) Although I do tend to get along with Geminis fairly well, we both probably have too much Leo to be compatable anyway. I have several planets in Leo, & he has the number 1 leo vibe (B'day is the 19th), not to mention both of our moons are in Leo. We would probably be arguing about whose hair looked the best, no just kidding, I don't do that... really.

Another Virgo Sun-Aquarius Ascendant here.  (hey we should form a club! lol) And I do sometimes tend to get lost in my own world & shut myself off from everyone else, emotionally if not physically. But the weird thing is that I have a major water influence in my chart and I am VERY emotional..sometimes feeling more like a Pisces than a Virgo. But then whenever anyone around me gets emotional, the Virgo-Aqua aloof thing tends to kick in, and I become this awkward person who has to back off for a bit, because I just cannot deal.
...I guess this is just part of the paradox that I feel like I am.  IP: Logged | |
