The orb is a little generous.. stelliums are thought to be more than two, although any number of planets interacting in the same sign are bound to give it more expression..... even so, I think the orb is too great to fall into the realm of conjunct. What do you think? http://www.thezodiac.com/brick.htm http://www.astrology.com/aboutastrology/interpreting/aspectsandorbs/stellium.html http://www.therealastrology.com/HTML/FAQS/AspectPatterns.html a little linkage for you....IP: Logged |

Hmm...I dunno, it's still possible for it to be a stellium, I think...what about this chart, any stelliums here?:Sun Leo 10°18'17 01 direct Moon Taurus 05°51'47 10 direct Mercury Virgo 04°54'56 02 direct Venus Virgo 07°16'09 02 retrograde Mars Virgo 11°31'19 03 direct Jupiter Leo 21°16'51 02 direct Saturn Aquarius 02°58'53 06/7 retrograde Saturn is technically near the end of house 6 and is interpreted in house 7. Uranus Capricorn 10°41'38 06 retrograde Neptune Capricorn 14°42'13 06[b] retrograde Pluto Scorpio 17°34'15 04 direct True Node Capricorn 18°44'49 [b]06 retrograde btw, about the planets I pasted down in the first post...they are all retrograde, which means they are going backwards, i.e back to the last sign right? So isn't it a Sag-stellium in some sort of way then?

UNless they are transitting, not natal... they are those co ordinates frozen in natal.. backwards or not.If you go by the idea that stelliums are three or more signs, there are two steliums in trining signs. Virgo and Capricorn. Somewhat loose orbs.... I didn't look too closely.... IP: Logged |

I know you bolded aquarius, but that is almost an entire house away.. two almost three degrees in one sign, compared to 10/14/18 respectively.IP: Logged |

Hi guys! I think I've got one!I checked out the articles you linked pixelp, but couldn't find anything specific on the web about having a "Stelium of Pisces" in the 12th. What do you guys think that might mean?Sun Pisces 11°43'00 12 direct Moon Sagittarius 15°47'22 08 direct Mercury Pisces 14°51'29 12 direct Venus Pisces 21°15'00 12 direct Mars Cancer 22°16'35 04 stationary (D) Jupiter Gemini 26°15'31 03 direct Saturn Leo 25°58'52 05 retrograde Uranus Scorpio 16°21'08 07 retrograde Neptune Sagittarius 18°13'43 08/9 direct Neptune is technically near the end of house 8 and is interpreted in house 9. Pluto Libra 16°11'56 06 retrograde True Node Libra 06°07'00 06 retrograde

Does anyone really know what a stellium is? I've read a lot of definitions; here's one: quote: STELLIUM: Cluster of several planets in the same sign or house. Margaret Hone determined three while De Vore specifies five or more. Some astrologers consider it necessary that the leading and final planets be in orb of conjunction. Also called Satellitium.
That's from this astrology dictionary: http://www.panplanet.com/library/dict.htm#S I thought I had a stellium of four, now I'm not sure: Venus - 2 Libra Neptune - 23 Libra Sun - 26 Libra Saturn - 29 Libra But then here's an interesting quote from one of pixie's links: quote: One more complication: A Planetary member of a Stellium is subject to the influence of aspects to other Planets in the same Stellium, even if the Orb is too wide to normally include that Planet. This is called aspect by association.

Cool topic, thosa! I myself just learned about stelliums, like 2 weeks ago. Sounds like there's quite some controversy (LOL at Dr. Z's Thick as a Brick website) about whether the planets have to be exactly conjunct, or just in the same sign. Going by the looser definition, I've got a stellium:Sun Capricorn 27°40'59 Moon Capricorn 05°11'26 Mercury Capricorn 07°07'15 Mars Capricorn 12°42'28 Sunshine IP: Logged |
