My boyfriend and I have:

Aries Sun; Aries Mercury; Aries Venus; Aries North Node; Taurus Chiron; Taurus Juno in the Eighth House of the Composite Chart. Does this mean that it's a fated union?

Hey,

I have a similar placement. In our composite we have majority of the planets in 8th house of Cancer: Sun, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury!

So, please tell us what a strong 8th house in general means?

This is getting interesting! It seems that every Composite Chart I have done, for friends and such, even my own with Hubby.... the 8th House is always where the Sun is placed....?

Finding free links to Composite info is difficult, but you have a very good resource in astro.com.

Under INTERACTIVE HOROSCOPES click ASTROCLICK PARTNER. Enter your info, and when you see the Composite Wheel, click on each Planet as well as House to get interpretations. You'll get a pop-up window for each one, and I highly recommend you copy & paste into your own file as you go along.

Astro Junkie,

Astro.com doesn't provide information on an Eighth House stellium. Thanks for trying though.

What do you know about the eighth house?
What can you surmise about the planets placed there, the signs, and the interaction between the other placements in the chart?
Do you get a feel for it?

Think of the Composite being the 3rd entity, the relationship itself. Some relationships require a lot more work be put into it, but if one's Natal can deal with it, or even needs it to evolve, then it's OK for that person.

In a Composite, you have TWO people who need to feel comfortable with the demands of the relationship.

Think of the 8th House as having to do with death, taxes, investments, other people's money, sex.

Also think of Aries energy, how it goes with the gut. How it wants to get ahead. How headstrong it can be.

If the tone of the relationship is a mix of all this, and a Stellium at that, it will require that the two of you have your chickens in a row when it comes to death, taxes, investments, other people's money and sex. It's going to be a very fast-paced and demanding relationship when it comes to that. Maybe your relationship is very passionate, but just be cautious because it will take two people who are very strong, but who are also GREAT at compromise and cooperation.

Now I'm beginning to understand. Thanks for the explanation.

Oh, and by the way, does anyone know anything about Vertex? I just learned that my boyfriend and I have Aries Vertex in the Eighth House of the Composite Chart.

Gosh! There's so much Eighth House emphasis in this relationship.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

You absolutely DO have a lot in the 8th. Does it feel comforable?

The Vertex is, in my opinion, very powerful. Very interesting to look at the Vertex.

www.thezodiac.com/notworth.htm

And here's some info I was not aware of yet :::

"The Vertex swings like a pendulum that has the Ascendant as its fixed point.

The Vertex only swings through the Western, or right side of the astrological chart.

The Vertex rises and falls at the Sun setting part of the astrological chart, the Descendant.

The Vertex swings up through the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth astrological houses.

The Vertex crosses the Descendant twice daily, thus opposing the Ascendant on both an upswing and a downswing.

The Vertex swings down through the Sixth, Fifth and Fourth astrological houses."

Does someone have more links?

Thanks.

From the moment I laid my eyes on him, I felt a powerful attraction. For some unexplainable reason, I feel as though this relationship is going to play a major role in my life.

The Eighth House rules sex right? Well, erm -- we haven't gotten there. I told him that I wanted to wait until we were married. Perhaps this has a lot to do with Virgo Mars being in the Twelfth House of the Composite Chart. I'm not sure. Well anyway, making love to one another is CONSTANTLY on our minds, but, we're willing to wait.

Astro junkie, thank you so much for the information!

Yeah - I think you've got it ... Virgo Mars in the 12th in Composite might make it even MORE of a "soul" or "spiritual" connection. Usually you'll see interpretations like, "... relationship may never really be consumated...", or "... your attraction to one another may not be obvious to others... "

I find these types of connections to be very comfortable.
