Hi! A Virgo sun, Taurus moon/Ascendant here. Actually, if anyone ever asked me what my sign was, I'd say I'm a leo/virgo cusp, just to mess with them. I know that you're either one sign or the other, but all my planets in Virgo,(Sun,Mecury,Mars) are in the 5th house. No fire signs either, which I read somewhere means that a person is overly dramatic and needs attention. Are there any other no-fire people here willing to test that? It's true for me.

Anywhoo, here's my question: Does having the Part of Fortune directly on a house cusp mean anything? My PoF is 2'06 Virgo, and my 5th house cusp is 2'06 Virgo. I also have Venus in Libra packed in the 5th, too. Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome!
I don't have an answer to your question, really, but I did search some stuff about it and came up with numerous chart interpretations with the phrase "Part of Fortune is in the Fifth House, Not on a House Cusp and Less Important."
That is from: http://www.american-pictures.com/english/jacob/riis.htm

Clearly, the Fifth house was not always the house it was in, etc. However, I was not able to locate information as to why having the PoF not on a house cusp would make it less important or vice versa.

I did come across the PoF in regards to starting a house system. "As my concluding comment in this installment, let me say that the Part of Fortune is not merely a point like the planets or the nodes. It is the start of a house system. The sign of the Part of Fortune is the first house of the Fortuna system, and the first house of the Fortuna system extends from 0 degrees to 30 degrees of the sign in which the Part is located. And each of the other houses of the Fortuna system also extend from 0 degrees to 30 degrees of their respective signs. In the next installment I will describe what the ancients said should be done with these houses." http://astrologix.de/artikel/rhand/rpof1.htm
That's from part 2 on that site.

Hope someone comes along with some more insight for you.
