Is there anything obvious in a person's chart which can show an early passing in life? I read somewhere once that there is a sign in a chart that can show an early passing .. ie young age of passing xxx

I adored Diana, just wondered if there is any truth in what I read once?

There is something interesting, that I have noticed which is that having a stellium in house 8 or a badly aspected house 8, or weird conjuncts that cause instability and danger (like Mars, symbolizing aggression and anger etc. with Uranus symbolizing the unconventional and sudden changes), in 8th house, (death, rebirth, life, mysteries, sex), can lead to sudden violent accidents or death, and badly aspected with the Ascendant can cause it in an early age, also if it is badly aspected with one of the first three houses (1-3), or Aries-Gemini planetary placements, because the youth and infanthood is symbolized by these signs.

Interestingly, Princess Di has all of these things going on: a badly aspected 8th (moon opposition), stellium with Mars conj Uranus in eighth, Pluto in 8th square Asc, and the stellium is forming a quincunx with the first house. Also, moon in second is usually not good ( I have moon in 2nd here along with Mars on cusp of 8th/9th house badly aspecting moon, I have had a horrible accident),

also her Venus in 5th is squaring Uranus, surprise surprise...

.. what I mean is do people on here believe if 'it is in your chart' i.e. fate, love, marriage, death .. then is it going to happen anyway?

I know your chart can guide you, but ultimately do u think it shows your fate too?

I think that is more a question of fate vs taking things in your own hands, sort of. Everyone has differing views. I don't think a chart can predict with the degree of accuracy that we would like, marriage, death etc. Some older more traditional astrology books do think so, but just like the chart can indicate your 'ideal partner', while you may not get along with that person at all, or a composite chart may indicate harsh aspects between two people, whereas those two people get along great, similarly no reading on the future can be definite unless you actively participate in making it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yes there is something called fate, I believe in it because I believe in God, but *this is according to me only*, God also gave free will, we have to balance the two--fate to make us humble and know that everything we do wont reap the results we expect, and free will to make us independent and forward looking, so we can be ambitious and hopeful.

Like I said in a previous post, mars in the 8th with bad aspects can give a possible violent accident/death. But I had a violent accident already, and survived, walked away with nothing but a bloody nose. Everyone who saw the car could not believe a human could walk away alive from it. In fact a documentary maker used me in a video on amazing stories or something like that after seeing my car, which smashed up to a tin can.

I have never tasted a drop of alcohol, as in drinking alcohol, in my life. I don't drink. Its because I know my Jupiter is in Sag and thus I have a tendency to overindulge, (excess drinking is the last thing I need). I am against alcoholism by principle, and that is all I need to bar me from it, but my chart says it is also not good for me (if I was drinking and driving during my accident Im pretty sure I wouldnt be alive to be telling you all this).

Also, theres a Venus-Pluto opposition in my chart, that says uh oh, you have problems with power in relationships. But thats the bad part, the good part is, Venus is in 7th house, a really good aspect, and it sextiles Mars, so thats great.

What Im trying to say is, every chart has good and bad aspects. No one aspect can say clearly that this is what is going to happen. Nothing can give us clear answers. We frantically try to reduce everything to simplicity, because, honestly, we are afraid of uncertainty. But guess what, life IS uncertainty, change, instability. Thats what the future is. There is no definite answer to our worries about what WILL happen, there is no crystal ball, astrology included--that would provide all the answers.

Mars in 8th or Venus opp Pluto would give a tendency or probability of something happening, but if we work carefully enough and capitalize on our strengths we can avoid the negative impact of placements and aspects.

Its similar to transits--recently Mercury retrograde was making us all go bonkers. But thankfully I bit my tongue a few times to stop from saying and doing things that I knew I would regret. So see, I 'controlled' the prediction of miscommunication etc. normally associated with Mercury retrograde. And anyone can do it.

Astrology warns us what to prepare ourselves for, kind of like road signs. It doesnt say this is definitely what will happen, it is our response to the road sign that will determine where we end up.

I love her too. She was born the same year as me, and married Charles the same year I came within 10 days of marrying someone. To me, she's not dead, and my having outlived her is just TOO much for me to wrap my brain around. I wish I was her friend, we would have got on.

Yes, I believe her spirit to still be around us, even to this day. She certainly will be looking over her two sons. She would be very proud xx

It certainly was a great loss to Britain when she departed from us in the physical form.

As for the marriage of Charles & Camilla - doesn't that relationship just seem NOT MEANT TO BE?

* They couldn't be together because of Charles' duty to marry Diana.

* Diana suffers from bulemia and depression due to Charles & Camilla's affair while she was still married to Charles.

* Diana looks for love elsewhere, and when she does, is killed in horrible crash.

* Charles & Camilla have to keep a low profile.

* Decide to marry, but have to reschedule due to Pope's funeral.

glad to see its of interest to yall, I find all this pretty fascinating too, Im really fascinated by the eighth house, I have 3 planets in house 2, opposing my eight house which has a stellium,

house 2 is scorpio, so scorpio opposes its very own 8th house!

very interesting let me tell u,

i think it tends to make me very interested in spirituality, life and death, aggression, money and sex,

that makes me sound horrid but believe me im not *that* horrid lol

while i am fascinated with the above things yet i reprimand myself for thinking about them, i think thats where scorp opposing the eighth comes in, inability to accept my own mystic scorpio side.

Anyhow I will get back to you on mars in 8th, but I will say to Sana, DONT WORRY, like I said, if you take care and make sure to take precautions, you can mold fate a bit, I have Mars in 8th/9th cusp in Gemini also, I have had an accident like you also, but I am still alive and well, and have no feelings of impending doom

about the unexpected behind the scenes things going on, the charts at least totally indicate that. Now Im not a big fan of anyone in the whole scenario, although I do remember Princess Di's death and the horror of it, and it made me miserable and sad for days, especially seeing the car over and over and hearing that she had just been unrecognizable! Well....you know life can be tragic....

How does the Sag Asc play into that? Or were you just really emphasizing the Moon/Uranus Opposition in the 8th?

But also, is it more specific to the Moon Opposition? Or just a Natal Uranus in the 8th Opposite any Planet?

Or maybe - it can even be as narrowed down as Uranus being in the 8th - period...

With the Sag Ascendant it shows one of the possibilities of being in a foriegn land (France) and/or the possibility of being with foriegners (Dodi Fayed) when she died.

In her natal the Moon rules her 8th house, in opposition to her 8th house Uranus (Leo) this aspect was triggered by transits and progressions, thus the fatal accident (Uranus)

Its interesting to note that her 8th house Uranus was in Leo. The Doctors tried unsuccessfully for over an hour to massage her heart.
Leo rules the heart/heart attacks
