Well ok, here's my story....
My Capricorn cousin has this friend that she hangs out with, even though it makes her Taurus boyfriend insane with jealousy.
Anyway my band played at the high school talent show tuesday, and I hitched a ride home with her & her friend and another girl. By the way her friend had seen me in the mall the day before and said I was really pretty, or something like that, but I never saw him.
So we went out to get pizza, and rode home to gether for like a 30 min. drive, we only got to talk alone for like 15 min.
So he later calls my cousin(she's like the universal person to whine to) and I hear "tell her yourself", she hands me the phone and after a few minutes of silence from him, and some failed attempts he finally say's "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I like you."
Well of course I had no clue what to say, I barely know the guy, but my cousin is telling me to make conversation, so I fumble around stupidly for a while.
But every time he calls and I answer the phone, I can just tell that he's dying for me to say something, and I don't, I just act like nothing ever happened. I'm just so not used to such straight forwardness. Me & guys just usually chase each other in a big circle and never get anywhere. Should I say something? It just kinda freaked me out.
Sorry, I'm sure nobody wants to hear me whine, but I could use some advice.

Thanx for replying... but that's just it, I don't know if I do or not. I might if I knew him better, but I don't. I feel like I'm totally blowing him off, which is something I don't think I want to do. Don't burn bridges you know.

Just tell him.. sorry, I am not used to someone just telling me they like me and it threw me for a loop...
Honesty will push you past the irregular bumps of awkwardness. You won't feel like "I only wish I knew what was going on or what to do."
Start there.. next time he calls, tell him you feel awkward, as you barely know him, and then maybe play the question game.
Start with Astrology, or something you are equally comfortable with.. bands?
and go from there. Maybe it is nothing, maybe it is something.

Thanx guys, I had a chance to talk to him today, I just said "Sorry I was so weird on the phone, but you kind of threw me for a loop you know?" that sort of thing and left it at that. This could be interesting, we might turn out as friends after all...who knows?
