I was bored this morning so I went through the charts of those people closest to me and entered them into excel, comparing their planetary placements to mine. I found some really interesting commonalities between them. Has anyone else every done anything like this? Do you find that there are certain similarities to those closest to you?For instance, of the six people closest to me, here is what I found... - 4 have Virgo Rising, 2 have Gemini Rising (I'm Cancer Rising)
- 3 have Fire Mercury, 2 have air Mercury. 4 are mutable. (I'm Scorp Merc)
- 3 are water suns, 2 are earth, 1 fire...4 are mutable, 2 fixed.
- With Moons, it's pretty spread out: 1 water, 2 earth, 2 air and a fire. All but one is a mutable moon. (My moon is in Libra)
- 3 have a Fire Venus, 2 have Air and 1 Water.
- All but 1 has a mutable Mars...3 earth, 2 water and an air. Of those 6 people, two I have been involved with or am involved with romantically. Both are Earth Suns, have Virgo rising, both have Fixed Venus' (like mine), both have Virgo Mars in the 12th house (I have a mutable Mars as well), and both have planets bunched up around the ASC, w/ 3 more more planets in the 12th. Anyone else ever looked at something like this? If so, what have you found? IP: Logged |

I have noticed that my loves and lights have in common several things, of varying frequencies...
My close friends share my Moon (Capricorn)
Libra placements... ( Asc, Sun,Moon)(My Mercury and Pluto)
Aquarius...(seems to be Moon, usually)(my descendant)I usually resonate mentally(women) and physically(men) with Aries I am finding too, that people with similar house placement in their charts, I 'get'.. no matter where their houses fall in my chart (overlay) IP: Logged |

Isis!!Weird, I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. Whatever happened to the NZ thing? To answer your question, yes, I have a lot of similar placements with people I am close to. Of the eight I can think of now: *4 air suns (mine is Aqua)
*4 fire moons (mine is Leo)
*4 air mercury (mine is Aqua)
*5 water rising (3 in cancer, 2 in Scorpio)
*2 Libra moons, lying on my DEC
*2 Libra suns, lying on my DEC
*4 Leo north nodes, same as mine There are other similar aspects, such as style of chart (mostly bundles or slings), and most with either sun/moon oppositions or trines. It's especially funny to look at the charts of my family members, so many nifty little ''coincidences''...  Ghani

THOUGH I HAVE NEVER CHECKED IT.
but i feel its ver y logical that the ppl that ur closest to are like u in thier likes and dislikes , isn't it .

Traditional science rejects Astrology and other metaphysical sciences because it lacks the ingredient essential to study, its properties are beyond grasping, yet part of the grand scheme, but it can't be pegged exactly. Or at least in scientific terms.
So logic isn't really the thing to say in this circumstance. Boss.
Which is why when you embrace Astrology and see how it applies to your life, it is like a small understanding miracle and it reinforces our sense of destiny. Which as well, cannot be measured.
