Hey all! Well, a coupla days ago I had to get some electrical work done at my place. I hired this guy off the 'net, and got talking to him while he was working. Turns out he knew a little abt woodwork and could help me assemble a computer cabinet I bought too. I happened to mention how I needed someone to put up my home theatre system too and he told me that he could perhaps do that efficiently too.

Since the whole place was a mess, I decided to take out my broken vacuum and fix it, as I had to do it anyway later on. He remarked that he was a bit of a technician too - while also saying that he knew a lot abt cars and could perhaps have a look at my car's weird noise too. Then I offered to get him coffee, since he was being so generous with his time. He told me he wanted a grande sweet and light saying that would be his tenth cup fo the day. Looking at my startled expression - he smiled and said that coffee kept him going while getting away with a few hours of sleep every day. Through this all, he also manageed to tell me abt his two ex-wives and four kids, all accomplished by the ripe old age of 27.

By now I was sure I was in the presence of those rare phenomena - a pure, undiluted twinkle toes quicksilver Mercury man - so asking where his Sun lied was just a formality!

So has anyone recently run into someone who was an unsaturated version of one particular sign? Its just that its so much fun to watch someone so clearly depicted through the looking glass of astrological personalities!

Oh, well then I will cut and paste it here..

I was thinking about you today, just now, in fact, I was going to email to see how you were.
I know what you mean about embodying a certain sign..... that's what fascinates me about Astrology so much. Or if I think they are something else, and am puzzled, I will usually find, once i do the chart, that they have that influence i thought I saw, very dominantly....
Gotsta' love tha Astrology!

wow maya thats so insane,

yes now that u described him like that, he totally seems like a Mercury man, and probably a Gemini Sun,

we're all wired up on coffee or tea, regardless of when we tell you we're just running on natural energy lol. And the different loves/marriages is such a common theme, even the most devoted and loyal Gems such as myself end up going through multiple committed relationships because of the stress and changeability and misunderstanding....sometimes we are just too demanding of our freedom and sometimes the other person is not what they presented themselves to be, and sometimes it just falls apart....

But yes I understand what you are saying, unfortunately Im not so intuitive at seeing signs right away, I Wish I was, but there are some very typical traits that can be so obvious. I Have this one Virgo friend, who was sitting at the table the other day eating cookies and when she tried to tie them back up with the twist thingie she kept tying it, then looking at it, opening it and tying it again, and then saying "This looks so messy! Why dont they make these twist tie things more effective!"

It was SUCH a Virgo thing to do, gosh I was like containing my giggles!

OR when my mom has to interrupt people ruthlessly and tell them how to run their lives, since you know, it all centers around her, shes the Lioness, and when she roars every damm body in the jungle better listen!

Love
SG

I don't know about someone who is purely and undiluted version of sign X, but I've definitely run into times at which someone that I know shows an aspect or two of his or her chart so strongly that I can't help but giggle.

Even my little girl, for instance, 'll exhibit this. She'll be a year old on the 22nd, but she's so often such a Leo Rising - she'll perform some special act and then look around to make sure that everyone's looking at her, or flail as dramatically as any star of stage and screen when you take away, say, a penny that she was about to eat.
Or if she's in the room and my husband and I are paying attention to one another (and not her), she toddles over, "Hey, HEY! DaDADA, MAMAMA!" (That may be her Taurus Sun not wanting to be left out of snuggle time, though.)
At other times she is her Gemini Stellium (Moon/Venus/Mars) in the 11th. She babbles absolutely non-stop and'll start crawling towards kids that catch her eye, yelling, "HEEY, HEY! HI!" at the top of her very strong lungs.

My husband will often show off his Taurus Moon in the 6th. Example: "I don't mind the taste of onions so much - I just can't stand their texture. Same goes for green peppers and tomatoes."
Or, "Just sit on the couch and cuddle with meeeeeeeeeeee and watch T.Veeeeeeee!."

Then there was this dude at my old work.
He claimed that he was a Libra.
He wasn't. He was a Scorpio (I checked his birth time/place - 0 degree some odd minute Scorp all the way back to 12:01 AM of that day).
To Quote Him: "All relationships are about power and getting as much of it as you can."

Maya-V,

I know two brothers JUST LIKE the man you described...only one's a Taurus and the other's a Scorpio, both with stelliums in their signs. Maybe they have mercury risings???

Talk abt astro dilusion - my best friend from back home, who is a Sag, is married to another Archer and she had a baby - on December 4th!

Yeah, the next subject of my fascination would be archers ... since I know so much abt them and now that I am not WITH one, I can take a more pedantic perspective on this rather elusive creature of the Zodiac!

And Moon Duchess, yeah Im sure they must have a lot of airy Gemini energy on their chart.

The other guy helping that Gemmie helped me vacuum when he didnt have to; helped me clean my kitchen and told me he was a chef before opting for electrical apprenticeship. Now is it me or does that sound like a Cancer influence? I havent asked him yet, but Im sure even if his sun is elsewhere, he has some lunar aspects somewhere!

My bf is the epitome of a Virgo. He is in love with work, working 24/7 on this aviation website he started. He can stay up until 4 in the morning to be on the internet, but when hes laying in bed with me and I want to talk and be romantic, he falls asleep at like 1 at the latest. He can only take mushy love scenes in small doses. He was a complete cynical atheist when I met him. He rationalizes and controls his emotions better than anyone I've ever met and sees no place for imagination. He is Very orderly and efficient. And last but not least he is infamous for his quick Virgo wit. He's a teacher (very intellectual) and is always cracking up his class.

BTW, After meeting me and being introduced to Linda Goodman, he's now a believer in astrology! Even he couldn't deny that he is a pure manifestation of Virgo in all its glory.

i used to sell drugs out of my basement. i had a large number of cronies. had i not had these cronies i never would have believed astrology was real... and i never would have found out alot of other things that take part in our reality.

it seems, the less self control one has the more they will act like their sun sign... i remember this one aries guy. hed try and mess around with you in a rather sadistic way, but if you just didn't give him satisfaction of playing along he would instantly stop

Hey, I remember this . Now that you think of it, a perfect archetype for cancer would be my father. He has almost ALL of the cancer traits;the hard shell, soft heart, moody, vindictive(towards me atleast), oddly enough he expressed sadness when he would see a child playing all alone on the street for all his coldness. He can cook too!But he physically looks like a libra(very balanced, "easy to look at" features)
I guess archetypical Im the one who looks physically like a cancer(large watery eyes, big a$$ lips, w/ (unfortunately) big boobs)

another example would be two of my close friends-a sag and a gem. The sag likes to travel alot-especially in the summer, very pretty, tall like a typical sag, rocks some wild hairstyles sometimes, unconventional in her clothing style, has a short term memory thing going on.
The gem has those clear large aquamarine eyes that's classic of that sign. She walks very fast, always ten steps ahead of everyone else. She's a very fast typer and just likes doing stuff, you know, being active. Like just last night she emailed me and told me her plans for this summer w/her Libra boyfriend were:going to six flags New England , taking two day trips to Newport, then going to six flags New Jerzey, and off to Florida before coming back for the fall semester-dang!

I've got a friend who contradicts everything I say.
If I agree with him, he contradicts that as well.
Typical Aqua.

I've got another friend who was saying just the other day how she wishes she could cut and paste one guy's head on another guy's body.
I had to explain to her that this was not an option.
Typical Libra.

Heart--Shaped Cross youre friends seem just like me and my mother!!! My mother(the aquarian) thinks that whatever she says is right, and if I agree with her(which is VERY rare) she'll completely change her opinion (although I'm the same way, my moon is in aqua). I'm just like your libra friend-I dont know if thats good or not all the libras I know are insane. I have even said before how I wish I could cut and paste one guys head to anothers body, I know its not possible, but wouldnt that be great? I'm a gemini, so maybe thats typical of us too.
And to Maya-v, I actually thought the whole time I was reading that that he was a Leo, he was bragging an aweful lot. When you asked if he wanted coffee he told you just how he wanted it...
My brother is just like his sun sign. Hes a leo with his moon in Sag. Everytime he comes home hes loud and demands everyones attention. He'll do anything to make people laugh at him, I do mean anything. Everyone always says hes like a cat, hes been in so many different accidents and lived.. people just say he has nine lives. Its weird.
