What part of your chart do you think dictates the most major part of your thoughts on marriage?

I am a Gemini Sun/Scorp moon, and although I am very very loyal in relationships, and tend to think of marriage in traditional terms, tied to religion, now its coming to take on a new meaning for me--love and friendship both have to be there, and physical sparks is excellent too, regardless of cultural backgrounds, which I was a stickler for before. Although my loyalty/devotion is still pretty much Venus in Aries/Scorp moon-like, I think my need for independence, trust, freedom is heavily Air (3 air planets here).

Some things you might think that influence your views on marriage the most:

Seventh house
aspects to Venus, Chiron, Uranus, Saturn, Sun, Moon
aspects to MC/fourth house
ruler of your chart,
your first love or first marriage

or whatever else!

Her Sun & Mars in Leo are in her 10th House
Her Saturn in Taurus is in her 8th House
Her Venus & Vesta are in Virgo
Her Asc in Libra
Her North Node in Pisces (in her 5th playing up the "glam" girl)
Her MC is Cancer Sextile her Saturn

This all looks like someone who needed stability, and in a weird way, to rein her in a bit as well. Her marriage needs to be a "big achievement" to her, and her Venus & Vesta in Virgo adding to her romantic wishes.

As for the Houses?

Her Moon in Aries is in her 7th
Her 7th House Cusp is Aries
Her Uranus & Pluto in her 12th
Her Vesta in her 12th

Those are the only "romantic" or "dreamy" Houses.

Well, my view on marriage is traditional and I believe in fidelity, a happy companionship, commitment, a secure home base and family.

I think these views are mainly influenced by my Capricorn ascendant/Cancer descendant, Moon in 4th house conjunct Saturn (ruling planet), Venus and Mars in Cancer (needing to feel secure).

My sun/moon Gemini wants companionship and someone I can converse with. The Gemini stereotype is often painted as fickle and unfaithful but in my case this is not true. Therefore, the above Cappy/Cancer/4th house considerations are major in explaining my need for a secure marriage.

I don't know how chart interpretation would work for others relating to marriage but this is my take on it.

although Geminis are not supposed to be into committed, loyal relationships, I find myself craving them, and more times than not I'm the one wanting to make a relationship long term while the other person just bails

AJ, thats really interesting, and I would say that the Leo influences gives her a tendency to jump into marriage, I know my mom has strong Leo influences (shes also a Leo sun) and tends to equate everything with marriage, she keeps bugging me to get married again, and if I'm friends with ANY guy, she'll say "so do you plan on getting married to him?" (aah!)

Its interesting that her AC is libra, mine is too, my venus is in the seventh (her moon is), my seventh house cusp is also aries,

my seventh house is badly aspected by a couple of planets and well-aspected by others, so I have no idea what the final conclusion of that should be, although there is a lot of heartbreak involved, most of it like I Said is ppl bailing out on me, without explanations or disappearing or jus plain dumping, yes im one of those dumpees, I think I've dumped twice and been dumped like three or four times, so the odds are against me,

Not a good thread to be writing on when I've just been silently put to the side by the Aqua I've been with lately..some serious relationships issues going on right now in my life , as usual, negative ones...
