There's a group of six guys who work in the same area at my workplace, and four are wild Capricorns. They are know for being really loud, funny, and sometimes just far out. I was shocked when I discovered their January birthdays... I know there's exceptions to every zodiac sign, and charts are variable, but to see four Caps who are so totally different from what usually comes to mind with that sign is odd if interesting.

A Capri friend of mine, Alex, lives with four others. They are such hippies...they all gather on in the Alex's room, get naked and then proceed to jump up and down on the bed!
They do this every Sunday.

Guys it also depends on moon aspects and ascendent. i wud say the world has changed alon with all the ideas of conservativeness have changed so the caps have changed. in any case as cappies grow older they do tend to lighten up and make up for the lost time. something like operating in reverse. being serious at very young age and lighthearted as they progress towards middle age.

I don't think I've met a 'conservative' Cappy. I mean, most I know are zany as hell! Weird sense of humour, strange dancing....

Just because someone is a Capricorn or any other earth sign, doesnt mean they are automatically boring or dont know how to let loose. Just ask any of my friends. When I'm with a group of friends, I'm the life of the party and making everyone laugh. And I'm a Tau/Virg/Capricorn. Sorry, it gets annoying. I just read another thread about Virgo moons being 'not much fun'. Give me a break.

Maybe it's because I have strong earth in my chart, with fire close in second, but I have laughed the hardest and had alot of fun with people with strong Cap in their charts. And the Virgo's I know are hilarious too. Not all earth signs are boring stiffs.

Plus Caps, for example, will usually have a few of their personal planets in Aqu or Sag. So that mixes things up a bit.

26t no one said anything about earth signs in general being boring, refer to the Virgoes pigeonholed thread, we're joking around, like the what everyone thinks about signs thread, where everyone is just talking out of personal experience...just like you speak from your personal experience I also just speak from mine and didn't claim that it represents all capricorns or earth signs of the zodiac I didnt even mention the words 'earth signs' in my post. gosh im so tired of writing this disclaimer over and over again, becoz of ppl misunderstanding my post, although I dont see any disclaimers about Geminis being jerks, I dont demand them, but then what the heck jus forget it

I'm sorry if my post came across as Capricorn bashing, because that wasn't my intention. I read another thread asking if one has ever encountered a person who really fits the commonly assumed traits for their Sun Sign. So I thought, what about a thread of when people don't show those traits? I'm actually a Capricorn rising, and my father and sister are Capricorn Suns. I love Capricorns I just had never until now met Capricorns that didn't show some of the traits commonly assigned to them, which was a learning experience on what you said (keeping an open mind). Once, again my apologies if I came across as dissing Caps.

I'm glad to hear that, becasue I've read some of your postings and get a good vibe from you. AJ, yes they are Capricorns not Aquas (Bdays Jan. 8, Jan. 12th, Jan 6., and Jan 17th). I thought Jeff (the stripper guy) was an Aquarius too, because he's very much into doing things his own way. I know their Bdays, caz I have this game of trying to guess people's signs for fun, then asking them their Bdays to see if I was correct.

I am Capricorn asc. and have found that get along really well with Cappy Suns. Two of the wildest female friends I've had are Cappys. They have strong work ethics and all, but when they cut loose...they really cut loose!

I friggin' love Cappys.
They get the job done, and have their ways ( wilder than one would think at first glance)
But when its time for fun, they sure know how to do that.
My Mother, Brother, closest cousin growing up... all hard workers, all know how to shoulder responsibility, in a graceful way.. all with quirks in their character that make them 'typical' Cappys, but all with the personalities and fun loving presence one would be silly to overlook... or underestimate.
I friggin' love Cappys.
My moon is cappy, and I always harp about how it is misunderstood.. and really, it is. I know the essense of Capricorn in my life, and it is anything but dull, fuddy duddy...
My brother can make me pee my pants with laughter.
*not that I pee my pants.. you know what I mean
