I'd like your comments and opinions, please.

I was wondering if any of you fire signs out there have a problem with being short-tempered, aggressive, having dominating tendencies, etc.

And, what do you do about it to keep from aggravating the heck out of your nearest and dearest???

that's acting like a

My suggestion:
If they roar, just yawn back. I think it's a great way to distinguish their fire

I know many sags like this and well let's just say I don't let them mess with me. My boyfriend gets annoyed because his mother can be pretty rude. She'll scream at him sometimes. He said he once screamed at her so loud she got scared.

My cousin is a sagi and well...let's just say we use to fight alot when we were younger. Once we were at a party and I guess I was blocking her view. Then she told my sister tell your sister to ****** move. Like I didn't hear it. I snapped back and said you want me to move? Then say it nicely b*tch.

She was like whoah! and shut her mouth.

Leos I know can be like that also. They need praise.

Aries. LOL my best friend is one and well let's just say shes like a scorpio except not skanky. My grandmother and aunt are also aries.

Would you p!ss off with this offensive crap already?
Don't think I'm not aware of you by the way.....

I love the fire in fire signs. It is an honest fire.. you can't hate a child for being childish. You can't hate the colour red so refuse to eat apples. It is adaptation....
Put it in perspective.... you are aware that they are like this at times ( and who isn't?) So use that to your advantage.
Just learn and be wise.

Well, I'm glad to hear from all of you!

This is behavior I know a lot about. I've been childish and rude at times, though I am somewhat ashamed to admit it.

I'm also interested in finding out what others have done to correct this behavior in themselves.

Keep those replies coming in!

Good, because the only thing you are proving is that you are immature because you like to bite people for no reason.
I don't want to do this with you anymore. It is quite insane. Just stop being a jerk.
You must admit that if someone repeatedly called your sign 'skanky', you'd get mad. *You get mad over anything, so I am pretty sure this is an accurate statement.

I'm a PERSON, I say what I feel.

Too keep from getting aggrevated?

My own personal way is distance, and it can be in a variety of mediums. Mental, physical, or emotional. Sometimes if the topic is real close to my heart, I will say something to remind them of their own sensitivity and it works because their attention shifts directly away from themselves (EGO) and onto me and they get all fiery about what's up with me, and why'd I say that and blah blah.

hi - i'm a sagi with a fire moon and a fire ascendant. funny you brought this up because even though i may feel like a protective worry wart who is concerned for those i allow myself to even connect to most times more than myself(they may not know/understand this) i am looked at as "short-tempered, aggressive, having dominating tendencies, etc." (aka drama queen) but you know something - i don't care. really. everyday is a new day and some people like to take advantage. Also, as far as i'm concerned - i think a lot of us are the best "survival wise" so you can either accept it or not. we have more than our own best interest at heart - just try to understand that as much or even a little bit as much as we try to understand/work with you - well, whenever we can contain the omnipotent one who arises from flightiness filled with delusions of grandeur.

I'm a total fire head. Sometimes I get mad before I've pinpointed why I'm mad!

Luckily, though, my former bf/roomate loved the fire in me and so it doesn't bother him. At least until its directed at him. Then it's not so cool anymore. But, being a careless Sag, I ALWAYS feel bad afterwards, like right after and apologize profusely.

I just get really hot tempered quickly. That's just me. Its almost impossible to control or suppress when something really gripes my ass. and at that point, I really don't give a flying eff because I'm gonna say what I have to say even if I have to yell it because you're not getting it!!!

It helps that when I'm ****** , I am very articulate and (I really should be a lawyer) I can argue that the sky is green and win. Maybe its just that the person I'm dealing with just wants some peace, so they let me win to shut me up. It works. and I end up apologizing for an hour after.

yep....I knew who TP was from the get go...but I wanted to see if she could possibly post without being offensive. In another thread she insinuated that Saggies are $luts and now Scorps are skanks...LOL.... narrowminded peeps..well what can ya do.

Sue- a Skank is somone that is disgusting, low, kind of nasty / dirty. I wouldn't use that term for any sign..just for a person that was a gutter dweller.

As a fire sign, yes I have a temper, but I have learned to not get so "hot" about things.

It is rare that a Sag will say something such as move the "blank" out of the way and then become timid when one responds. We are not known for out fear of words or backing down from a challenge..LOL...

If I am moved enough to say something, I will commit to back it up - then again, I also have an Aries moon / Pluto on the Ascendant- so confrontation isn't scary.

Yeah, I don't get mad about stupid things. I have good reasons,
like when someone invades my personal space (ie using my towels, rummaging through my things, standing in my bubble)
or tries to tell me what to do (don't even try--just guilt me into it)
or possessing my freedom.

pretty basic Sag traits. I hate being so stereotypical, but I've four planets in sag, so what's a girl to do?

lol - i know that's right. where confrontations intimidate people - they sure enough enrage/gas/ground most fire signs and don't put your hands on them. that pluto ascendant must got you talking pidaua, because i'm not a "conscious (aware of what's coming out of my mouth)" talker in confrontations but I'm not going to say f*cking move to nobody either. Now if she would have said - can you move please and the girl responded with a I'm not going to f*cking move - then I would think she would probably start saying stuff to her that would cut the other girl quick and stare her down like - yeah, say something because i don't even want to see over there right now, i want to see you.

*f*cking move* must have been poking at her when the other girl responded with, say it nicely. she was wrong if she said f*cking move - so that's why she kept her mouth shut, probably. what kind of sag is she?

ANYWAY, i'm a saggi, i have an aries moon too and a leo ascendant but i must have said that in lindaland a dozen times.

Yeah, please cut the skanky **** thing but then again, it's not offensive or in the vocabulary of those who rise above immature stuff like that but remember, some people haven't gotten to that stage in their life yet. don't insult anyone. i don't really care too much for people who insult others - AT ALL.

LOL...I hear ya Amisha.

I am not sure of the circumstances surrounding the "move the blank out of the way" incident, but I am sure that the Saggi probably had enough.

I am very territorial about my immediate space. I get enraged by people that are so inconsiderate and rude that they talk during a movie on their cell phone or to their friends... Those people will ellicit a response from me such as "Oh, you must think that your ticket purchase was for you to be the only one in the audience, but really, there ARE other people here..please use that phone outside".

If they continue to be rude (or say..block my view) I will say something to them - and get rude if I have to.

That Pluto aspect is what keeps me from backing down - but I know almost everything that I say in an argument and I can have quite a sharp tongue.

Again, that is why I keep a lid on it. It is better to walk away and blow off some steam that say something that will wound a person forever.

Mr. Taurus has more of a temper than I do. By that I mean, he WILL confront a person and has no fear of putting things right, as he sees it. He doesn't use that temper with me very often..LOL..because it will fan the flames of my temper and then we'll be hurt over it all..but I have seen the famous Bull in the China shop in action....

Now I wouldn't even date a gemini. The men are skanks.

Carrot top is always starting something. if you can't handle my honest opinions about what I think about another sign then don't read the post. I don't need you following me around every post crying about it either.

See ya later carrot top.

in my opinion me being a leo it can be hard to contain your fire at times but you really have to look at yourself and try to work it out it all depends on the situation and using your energy in a postive manner the last thing you want to do is put out your your own fire

I am a Sag, a very blunt one, I might say, but I also tend to listen first before opening my mouth to insert the other foot...I've learned over the years to wait before I speak, because I can fly out with comments that I don't think about first and have elicited comments from other people mainly because of my own lack of foresight...so, I think first and think again before saying anything, and, after thinking about, am glad afterwards for not having said anything at all.

But are all fire signs selfish? No. It's usually our own enthusiasm and passion that gets us carried away, usually in the moment....and I supposed it could be interpreted as selfish, but I know I'm not a selfish person.

I do not get mad that often, usually I am fairly laid back and have no problem blending into the background. My moon is in Leo, and when I am insulted or feel like there's been some injustice, it takes a lot of willpower to not lose my cool, but I am capable of ugly fits of rage. As soon as I let it out, it goes away so fast that I have a hard time remembering what I was mad about in the first place lol.

I rarely lose composure in public; I rarely show any negative emotions. My sun is in Libra and my Virgo/asc keep me in check. Usually if angered or offended I'll respond by being a cold smart-ass. (My mercury is in Scorpio)...so, I tend to know exactly which buttons to push.

Losing your temper is never worth it and most of the time one comes out looking like a fool. However, I love that my moon is fire sign...adds a bit of feistiness, some spice LOL!

It's not a matter of being immature to see something *again* on purpose, and roll your eyes about it. It's not 'crying' to call someone on their offensiveness. I am no church lady, I am pretty generous with my affection, my tolerance and my latitudes.
I simply know that it goes beyond a playful or 'honest' opnion, and goes into the territory of " I think I will say this today to see who notices, and who gets p*ssed off."
I think THAT is pretty immature, but then, that I suppose would also be a generalization. Or you know, an honest opinion.
It is plainly rude to call anyone skanky.. and plain stupid to call an entire sign skanky.
I'm just calling you on it.

I'm stalking you?
Don't stare at my pictures if I bother you so much.
What do you want to look at a skanky Scorpio for?
I wonder if your next comment will be as universally educated and lovely as your last ones.. Will you generalise about an entire hair colour?
How about my curls.. does it offend you?
Green eyes? No good?

I don't believe I have cried over anything.
I noticed you were acting like an ass again.
I do come here when I have the opportunity, as I'm sure you do.
I think you are severly disturbed.....I'm not going to spout bullsh*t about Geminis though...
