heres a cute little story for you all. i recieved ot in an email but dont know the author

Last month our astrological support group decided to go on a field trip. After much debate as to what glorious adventures we should choose -- vociferously bandied about by the Fire signs - ARIES, LEO and SAGGITARIUS - and complicated by the turnabouts of GEMINI--the vote went to TAURUS and CANCER by the mere fact of stubborn and tenacious behavior that frankly wore everyone else out. Thus it was decided that we would go shopping.
Our band of twelve never made it past the first stop. ARIES led the way, of course. He headed straight for the novelty section, accompanied by GEMINI, who had already introduced himself to the pretty store attendant and so brought her into their convivial circle.
TAURUS and LIBRA had gravitated to the music department, about half a paragraph behind CAPRICORN, who was describing to the teller the virtues of classical music prior to the onslaught of the Baroque period. TAURUS ignored the dissertation, adjusting the earphones to a favorite female vocalist. Sensing some immanent tension, LIBRA positioned herself somewhat between the teller and CAPRICORN and tried to interject some pleasantries into the lop-sided conversation.

While CANCER was dickering on the price of a rather fine antique, SCORPIO was over in the metaphysical book section flirting with a cute customer. In the very next aisle over was SAGGITARIUS, browsing through the travel section, who suddenly exclaimed (so that half the store could hear) "Mating rituals!" Not noticing the menacing look from SCORPIO, SAGGITARIUS went on--to no one in particular--"Those east islanders are amazing!" LEO roared with laughter, always delighting in antics, but then resumed playing on the display synthesizer--pleased that he was drawing a small crowd. VIRGO was not amused. There was a time and place for everything. VIRGO, having rearranged some of the vitamins and supplements which were not alphabetically organized, was now eyeing the fresh herbs.

Few noticed that AQUARIUS and PISCES hadn't even made it into the store yet! PISCES was commiserating with a homeless person, probably giving directions to a local shelter or urging counseling by a religious organization she knew. It was a toss up on where AQUARIUS was to be found. We had passed a computer store that was advertising a close-out sale. But then again, we had also passed a group of Jamaican musicians jamming on a street corner. Who knows?

I'm not sure what happened next. TAURUS was bargaining for begonias; SCORPIO got a phone number--which turned out to be bogus; CANCER was cooing over an old burgundy basket; PISCES volunteered to buy a burger; GEMINI bought a book on bilingual brainstorming; LEO was now blending Blues with Bee Bop; and AQUARIUS supposedly got a booking for the band.

Everything stopped when we heard a crash from the crystal sculpture corner. ARIES and SAGGITARIUS, their hilarious laughter now a recent memory, stared at each other with that look of "uh-oh" on their faces. They had been tossing a valuable vase back and forth when SAGGITARIUS tripped and toppled the proverbial china. An attendant shrieked and the manager rushed in, looking just about discombobulated. LIBRA moved to intervene, silently noting the era and style of the vase, for she was ready to mediate. CAPRICORN, with that here's-another-mess-I-have-to-fix look, geared up for the negotiations. While most observers were riveted on the drama unfolding, I noted with appreciation my friend VIRGO who, having located the broom closet, was wisely getting back to basics.

I really liked that, very cute. The only thing that's missing is the Virgo secretly sneaking off to a fetish shop.
